Shop logs can now be purchased by a shop owner at the low, low price of
50,000 sovereigns! To purchase one, simply stand in your shop, gold in
hand, and BUY SHOPLOG. Note that this is non-refundable.

Once purchased, the log will remain active until the shop's ownership
changes hands - be it sold or transferred. Anyone who is able to price
within the shop will be able to view its log. To do so, stand within the
stockroom of the shop and SHOPLOG - one can also view certain portions
of the log in a manner similar to power/city logs, ie you can SHOPLOG 0
1 to read the previous month's log, etc - shop logs, like city and power
logs, clear once they are a week old.

Shop logs will store the following information:

o When the log is purchased.
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - You purchased a shop log!
o When an item is sold, and what it was, and how much was spent:
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - Spindle bought a piece of black earwort for 26
gold.
o If they've purchased a bulk amount of items (ie BUY 50 FEED), it will
store that as well:
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - Skein bought a group of 50 bags of meat scraps
for 650 gold.
o If the sale is a refill, it will log what refill it was, as well as
what keg it was from:
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - Bobbins bought a refill of a sanguine purgative
from keg5555 for 180 gold.
o If the sale was an enchantment recharge, you'll also see what cube it
was sold from:
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - Spindle bought a recharge from cube5555 for 29
gold.
o It will also log when a shop is transferred, ending logging
privileges:
o 2010/01/01 00:00:00 - The shop's been transferred, and logging
privileges lost!

This will -also- log sales via guild tutors and aethermanse shopkeepers
- so for those savvy merchants who enjoy having your shopkeeper wander
the lands to hawk your wares, you need not worry of it not being logged.

Note that -nothing- will be logged until the shoplog is actually
purchased.
