Aetherspace hunting has just gotten more interesting. If you are
attacked by an aethercreature, there is a possibility that an aetheretic
slivven could infest your aethership, attaching itself to a module. It
will feed on the module's energy, slowly damaging it. Further, these
slivven will eventually begin multiplying if not killed. While
aetherships may function for a time without addressing slivven
infestations, crews will eventually need to flush out and destroy these
parasites before they become a problem. The rate of infestation depends
on the the type of aethercreature that attacks.
