Anniversary Lotteries have commenced! There are two lotteries with 10
drawings each. The first lottery has prizes in credits (up to 1000!),
and the second lottery has prizes in dingbats (up to 500!). You can
purchase as many tickets as you want in either lottery in the lottery
buildings of the communes or cities. The drawings will take place next
week on October 15. Good luck!

Note that the scavenger hunt was hosted by the Gnome Conglomerate which
used the event to make a geological assay of the Basin of Life. They
assured the Basin that this was a standard procedure, and nobody should
be alarmed by the need for such simple surveys.

Finally, a Battlechess Tournament among all the cities and communes
resulted in Glomdoring remaining the Battlechess Champion and thus
keeping the mystic chessboard in their commune.
