August 2010 Envoy Reports and Fixes

=== August 2010 Envoy Reports ===

o Blue (Lowmagic) now gives 10DMP for asphyxiation.

o "You no longer have the sphere of "X" surrounding you" messages will
be hidden by blackout.

o Decay time for phials (Celest Angelfont construct) has been doubled
and equilibrium for use lessened.

o Battle beasts will be able to attack mobs upon command, and aggressive
beasts will do more damage vs. mobs.

o Lash (Night) is no longer usable through Terror, but Steal now is!

o Variable stun added to Firerain (Pyromancy).

o Paradigmatics - Badluck now 3p, greywhispers duration doubled,
illuminate lowered to 8p, snafu raised to 5p.

o Spixes (Transmology) are now on a 12 second timer.

o The room will see when people are afffected by Aeromancy Eastwind,
Southwind, Northwind, and Blizzard.

o DeathProphesy (Runes) will now require the same five slings but only
3/5 afflictions need to be on the target at the last moment.

o Very small stun added when Bellow (Stag) strips deafness while
targetted, and a slight increase to stun time if already deaf.

o Every ten seconds, only one Aeonfield (Aeonics) will affect someone.

o Bullkick (Shofangi) will sprawl per the AB.

o Torture (Nihilism) will bypass Rune of Absorption.

o Hod (Highmagic) is now a defense that will act like vitality for mana
loss, giving 15% mana back if it goes below 50%.

=== Misc Fixes ===

o PORTAL SEARCH SHOPS will now respect inaccessible bins.

o Fixed a bug that could druid trees to block melds of the wrong druid
guild under extremely unusual circumstances.

o When evaluating culture, "Fastest Growing Library" will now consider
book weight as well as number of books.

o If you're lying on a bed or hammock when someone else puts you to
sleep, you won't fall out of the bed anymore.

o Dreamweaving Embed: attempting to withdraw a mote and failing will
not cost willpower.

o Transmology Pathways and Fleshmound will cost power as indicated.

o Discernment Nightsight, Athletics Weathering, Psionics MindBar,
Psionics BodyDensity, and Psionics PsiSense will no longer let
you raise them while already raised, or cost mana when you try.

o Harmonics Crystalspin of gems that go into the crystalplex without
targets, and deactivating those gems, are no longer aggressive.
However, targetting those gems is aggressive.

o Forgetting Sacraments will clear the HolyLight defense.

o When a pipe decays with a partially-burned herb in it, the herb will
not be preserved.

o Fixed a bug that could cause Astrology Astrospheres to have an
inappropriately short duration.

o Outdoor manse rooms (as created with a miniature of billowing fans)
can be buried and burrowed in.

o Only the ship's commander can add or clear ship personalities.

o Nexus Distort on elemental planes in areas remote from the nexus was
not affecting city enemies, only enemies of the elemental planes
themselves, but should now affect both.

o Elementalism Magelock can't be used on an already frozen door.

o Upkeeping paintings is no longer considered aggressive.

o You can no longer leech health from yourself if afflicted with
healthleech.

o You can no longer buy a shop log in a shop where you already have
one (and get billed for it again).

o The previous change to how Harmonics targetting was treated as
aggressive included a bug that made all gems aggressive when being
targetted, not just offensive ones. This is now fixed.

o Stealth skills Truss and Rush will no longer use up rope when used
in an arena.

o Fixed a bug that could allow oil of sharpness to only last a few
minutes in some cases.

o Those who have committed suicide should no longer show up on lists
of city citizens or commune members.

o Those peeking into the inventories of others (such as with GUILD
INVENTORY) will no longer see Orbs of Creation.
