During the Trial of Ascension, it came down to two Sealbearers who faced
off for the final event. Esano Koicei of the Geomancers bore the Seal of
Chaos and was supported by Magnagora, Serenwilde and Hallifax.
Meanwhile, Xenthos An'Ryshe of the Ebonguard bore the Seal of Life and
was supported by an alliance between Glomdoring and New Celest. As their
battles raged across the astral spheres, the power of the Soulless Gods
grew stronger and stronger, as witnessed by the bloody slaughter of the
hideous abominations manifested by Kethuru. In the end, Esano kept a
comfortable lead and was able to master the Staff of Ascension,
reforming the Nine Seals and protecting creation for another cycle. In
doing so, he ascended and is now know as Lord Akyaevin of the Realm of
Chaos. Congratulations, Lord Akyaevin!
