Just to keep everyone informed, we aren't living in a vacuum and not
hearing the (sometimes valid, sometimes not) complaints on the karma
system some of you are making. We will be going through and re-examining
some aspects of the karma system this week. I still think if you give it
a chance, you will find your fears are ungrounded.

One of the aspects we'll be looking at is alternate ways to gain karma
(there's been some good suggestions on the forums). Another aspect would
be closing the loophole so if you are jumped and attacked and end up
killing your attacker, they won't gain suspect on you (which will of
course also impact the Avenger System). I also liked the idea one of you
had of having a karma upkeep for blessings.

We thus may delay implementation of curses longer than we had previously
said until these issues are resolved.
