The Basin of Life was divided into two camps. The Southern Alliance of
Gaudiguch, Glomdoring and Magnagora stood behind Kalas Ixion of
Magnagora, the Sealbearer of Nature, who was also aided by the
Sealbearer of Life, Kalas Malarious of Gaudiguch. The Northern Alliance
of New Celest, Hallifax and Serenwilde came together behind Falmiis
Shevat of Hallifax, the Sealbearer of Knowledge, aided by the Sealbearer
of Justice, Ciaran Pavok also of Hallifax.

The Ascension spanned three full days, as the Sealbeaers and their
allies battled each other as well as the manifestations of Almighty
Kethuru. The Staff of Ascension traded hands several times, and early on
it appeared as though Sealbearer Ixion would command the event. However,
through perseverance and with the aid of the Northern Alliance, it was
finally Sealbearer Falmiis who was able to retain hold of the staff long
enough to recharge the Nine Seals, which binds the Soulless Gods to
their prisons.

This is how Falmiis Shevat become the first Sealbearer of Knowledge to
conquer all odds and wield the Staff of Ascension. Let it be known far
and wide that he has taken the noble name of Falaeron, Ascendant of
Knowledge and thus is he now known.
