As the actions of Ghani n'Rotri caused the very fabric of reality to weaken through his summoning of the powers of the Astral Plane, Avechna, the Avenger decided that the Challenges of the Nine Seals must once again be held to keep the power of Kethuru contained. This time however, everyone soon learned that the Purple Hamster of Chaos had a new trick up her sleeve. She could be seen flying across the Prime Plane, dragging whoever was desperately trying to hold on behind her.

Kagato was the first to pick up the Hamster, and the unfortunate one to learn of her new exploits. Then Taevyn rose to the challenge, followed by Lorina. Taevyn reclaimed the Hamster but then we saw the appearance of Tarken, followed by Ixion. Once again Taevyn and Tarken got their turn, after which Malarious entered to make his claim. Ixion, Lorina and Malarious exchanged temporary ownership, after which Veyils appeared as a contender. Exchanging hands a couple of times more, Sondayga was the last new individual to make an attempt, but the never before so unpredictable Hamster kept getting away. It was in the final moments of the Challenge that Tarken once more picked the Purple Hamster of Chaos up and held her within his grasp as he became the Champion of Chaos and first winner of a Challenge medallion. Congratulations, Tarken!
