Plagiary

When the helpfiles about the Library system were written, I thought it
was only natural that stealing other people's writing and publishing it
under your own name (better known as plagiary) is forbidden, and since
this is also mentioned in the bardic and artisinal contests I did not
think it needed to be stated. Time has once more shown me to be wrong so
please allow me to express the importance of this.
Any form of plagiary is completely forbidden and shall be dealt with in
the harshest manner.
This includes stealing from other players, stealing things from other
IRE realms, stealing things from other muds in general, stealing things
from the Lusternia site, internet, famous (and infamous) writers and any
other form you can think of. Because of in game rewards (power and
library size) it is also not allowed to publish non-copyrighted
material, in other words, taking work from outside of lusternia and
publishing it is only allowed in very rare circumstances. In the case of
IC work, simply adding the original writer's name to a book is not
enough, you need permission to publish it.
Because it was not specifically stated, there will be no administrative
sanctions aside from the removal of the books in question. Further
plagiary will be dealt with accordingly. I will see about getting the
helpfiles updated at the first possible opportunity.
