Slowdown of "Visible" Projects

Written by: Estarra, the Eternal
Date: Monday, February 27th, 2006
Addressed to: Everyone

Just to keep you informed, since early January we have been undergoing a
very massive behind-the-scenes upgrade to prepare us for the latest
version of Rapture (the code base that runs Lusternia), and it may be
another several months before we can finally complete this project.
Unfortunately, this has placed us behind on a number of other projects.
What this means is that you may not see as many new features or updates
as you are used to seeing; however, this is because the coding that is
taking place is not visible nor has any direct impact on players (though
it has a huge impact on our code optimization). Nevertheless, we are
trying to continue our other coding projects (such as aethercraft
specializations, new shrine system, and envoy updates) at the same time.
Please be patient though if you find that the next few months seem slow
development-wise.
