Keeping Roleplay in Lusternia (and not the forums)

Someone has recently sent me a complaint, one which I have heard before
from both players and even some gods, that when some people encounter a
problem or conflict or question, instead of roleplaying it through one's
community (be it city/commune, guild, order or clan), or even through
publicly through conversations or news announcements, they instead bring
it to the OOC forums. The complaint is that this knee-jerk reaction to
immediately thrust events to the OOC forums circumvents potential
dynamic roleplay opportunities.
I must say that I do sympathize with this concern. While the forums are
certainly a place for the community to discuss many things, it was never
meant to be a substitute for solving roleplaying issues or answering
roleplay questions in-game. I submit to you that if you have problems
with an individual, organization or in-game philosophy, taking it to the
forums is a missed opportunity.
