A couple of comments when submitting.

If you "miss" the submission deadline, we cannot move your submission to
a previous month. The web database script is unforgiving in this regard.

Also, our text converter just is not recognizing smart quotes (the fancy
apostrophes and quotations that some word processors automatically
format), so please try to strip out smart quotes before submitting.

Finally, when submitting a mixed media artwork, please do not submit a
work that showcases another person's artwork except it is pasted on a
different background or has some media filters applied. I know it is a
tough call at times but use your best judgment. We take plagiarism
seriously and permanently shrub those who submit plagiarized work.
