Raziela's Plight, Part One: Dark Words

It began when Zynna of the Celestines and Enero of the Paladins were
hunting together beneath the waves of the Bondero Bay, when her angelic
companion began to ask if anyone else heard what she did. It was not
long before the angel was brought before Japhiel, where it became known
to New Celest that there were angels in pain, far from the Light of Holy
Celestia. Hoping to seek guidance, Japhiel asked New Celest to empower
the Star of Celest, claiming that it could grant great wisdom in times
of need. After several long days of effort, the Star of Celest flared to
life, and a being of light descended into the city of New Celest,
uttering dark words of terrible prophecy.

Meanwhile in the city of Magnagora, visions of pain and overwhelming
hunger began to plague the populace, though it was not long before
Karnagan of the Ur'Guard discovered Kunthin Shadowarm wrapped in battle
with the Necromentate, fighting to keep the beast within its pit. With
the realization that it was the large monstrosity that was causing these
empathetic feelings, Snaikka i'Xiia devised a plan to feed the
Necromentate one of its own - though a monstrous act of cannibalism, it
did not phase the populace of Magnagora as they set to work. It took
many days, though as the Star of Celest grew close to being empowered,
the Necromentate feasted upon its smaller sibling, and a terrible vision
took hold of the minds of those unfortunate Magnagorans present.

Not long after the Necromentate became wild, a small pixie messenger
from Queen Maeve of the Faethorn arrived in Glomdoring and then
Serenwilde, demanding both forest communes attend her in her throneroom,
high above the Faethorn. As they arrived, Maeve was visibly shaken -
telling those of both communes of her terrible nightmares, where
monstrosities walked and terrified her into waking. With a word she
requested the Serenwilde and the Glomdoring to seek out what they may,
and so they did.

It was more than a month later that the cries of the angels, now
realized to be trapped within the Soulless God Muud, began to wear on
the nerves and heartstrings of Angels and Supernals alike. Though
Elohora had forbade any Supernal from sending Their essence into the
Great Muud, as had been suggested, Raziela began to fashion a bracelet
woven of daisies.

As Liam stood by the Pool of Stars, Methrenton sighed audibly as the
sounds of Raziela's crying could be heard all the way to the city of New
Celest. After learning of the trouble, Liam quickly lead the way to the
child Supernal, who asked for his help. Unaware of what he was risking,
Raziela attached the bracelet to Liam's wrist, and made him promise not
to tell Elohora of what was happening.

As Liam and a group of Celestians led their way through Muud, Liam began
to pull, petal by petal, the daisy bracelet bare. Yet as they reached
their target, the last petal on the bracelet pulled free, and stuck the
fleshy wall. Within an instant it broke and moved in. As they entered,
they found four tormented archangels, stuck writhing about in the thick
ooze that filled a pool within the chamber. It was but a few moments
before the bracelet fell from Liam's wrist, and took to the air. In a
flare of cosmic light a rift opened, and Raziela entered the Great Muud
- with a word the bonds dissolved, and the angels, and Raziela, fled
back to Celestia.

Standing on the sands beneath the Pool of Stars, Raziela began to thank
them for saving the angels. As she turned to return to her arbour, the
portal fluctuated and from within a long black tendril of ooze snaked
out. With a shriek Raziela fell to the ground, the slime having got
ahold of her. Screaming and kicking, she was drug back through the
portal, which snapped shut behind her.
