A chilling sound echoed through the Glomdoring, causing fear and worry.
Soon it was revealed by Rowena Nightshade that some deed had angered
Mother Night, and that some ancient pact had been broken. A shroud of
silence hung over those fae that worshipped Mother Night, Her shadow
priestess growing silent and agitated when pressed as to why, and
Glumki, King of the Redcaps seemed perturbed. At the urging of Rowena,
Glomdoring sought out the Prophesy of Mother Night, and were left with
cryptic words and a sense of anticipation.

In Serenwilde it was the sound of arguing pixies that drew Miakoda's
attention to the upset, and soon it was learned from Selene, the First
of Mothers that Mother Night was upset, though she herself had been
thinking much on the past recently. As the Full Moon rose across the
Basin of Life, the cryptic words of the Ancestors began to whisper by
word of mouth across the Serenwilde. Seeking out advice from Maeve on
what they perceived as a threat to the Well of Souls, an ancient
construct left by Ellindel Treeheart herself, it was not long before
they learned of the Well's nature.

It was true that the Well of Souls was fed by two Springs, Maeve had
said, though they had long since been lost during a terrible tragedy,
when their connection to the Faethorn was severed. Becoming upset at the
demands to open the way back to the Twin Spring, Maeve dismissed the
Serenwilde, and returned to her brooding and worried thoughts, the
memories of the Twin Springs and rushing back to her.

Many days passed, and Maeve began to hope the Twin Springs would
continue to flow, and so the Well of Souls would be fed, so that the
Wydyr Glade might remain severed from the Faethorn. Though as the
shadows of Glomdoring began to whisper to one another in fear and anger,
it became clear to more than just the southern forest that Mother Night
was upset - and as Sarrasri, the Heir of Ellindel traveled to Faethorn,
she found the Well of Souls more than half empty.

Worried for what it portended, Queen Maeve of the Fae was found peering
into the Well by many arriving members of both the Glomdoring and the
Serenwilde. After a bit of effort, the fae queen pulled a stone from the
lip of the Well, and asked for one to take it. First to volunteer,
Sarrasri, the Heir of Ellindel took the ethereal stone, gathering power
from across the Basin of Life, places where nature flourished and
thrived.

While many of the Serenwilde followed their Heiress, Maeve of the Fae
instructed the Glomdoring to begin reforming her sceptre, which they
happily did. While waiting for the stone's return, Maeve answered some
of the lingering questions that plagued those present - who was Rhianna?
Why were the Twin Springs seperated from the Faethorn? Though many
questions were left unanswered, as Maeve returned to her tree to prepare
the way.

As Sarrasri dropped the stone into the Well of Souls, Maeve's sceptre
reformed completely, and traveled quickly to her. Raising it above her
head, Maeve shattered the hold over Caoimhe Dell, parting its trees and
opening the way to the Lo'varai Spring.

It was Rika Talnara of the Serenguard who first entered the Dell, soon
followed by many of the Serenwilde and Glomdoring, who found the
Lo'varai Spring and began to ask and answer questions with the old elfen
who guarded it. Realizing something was amiss, both New Celest and
Magnagora descended upon the Dell, though with different intentions -
hoping to destroy the Well of Souls forever, Magnagora began to
slaughter the elfen en masse, though the one named Jaryn Treeheart
continued to elude them, eventually giving in to demands by the
Serenwilde to seek refuge. Soon after, however, an elfen woman's voice
could be heard, pleading with Avechna the Avenger to turn His eyes away
from the Dell - and so the Avenger did.
