When Brennan Stormcrow fell into a deep slumber, he visited many in
Glomdoring in his dreams. The dreams pointed that Great Spirit Crow was
searching for his shadows, which were hidden in Crow's Dark Nest. The
way to the Dark Nest could only be opened through the Song of Returning.
All the Glomdoring Commune came together to search for this missing
song. When finally the song was known, it was revealed that Crow's
Chosen must sing the song and the commune must decide who would be the
Chosen One. After some debate, Bau Sayelle-Gladheart was claimed by the
commune as Chosen of Crow over Visaeris Mae'loch, who was one of the
founders of the earlier Disciples of Crow. Bau was granted possession of
the spine of a giant feather, and when she sang the Song of Returning,
the way to the Dark Nest was opened. Thus, Crow unveiled his teachings
and the Blacktalon Guild was founded in Glomdoring.
