Following the discovery of a threat to the Basin of Life by renowned
Master Artist Miella Windwhisper, the Hallifaxian Board of Directors
were quick to seek a way to neutralise the problem. Chairman Pejat
Shevat, Emeritus Irillia Shevat, Professor Shonjir Shevat and Primus
Tekora Windwhisper gathered to interview Master Artist Windwhisper about
her discovery, listening with compassion and curiosity as well as
concern. Following this, the Primus personally undertook an analysis of
the threat whilst the Sentinel Company ensured its quarantine.

The threat was found to be oneiromantic in nature, originating directly
from the Dreaming, and so the Primus and Castellan Aeden Pavok sought
the assistance of some of the foremost Dreamweavers known to the world:
the Keepers of Dreams. With research conducted with the Keepers'
assistance, the Matrix Research Institute were able to develop
blueprints for a device that would neutralise the threat.

All four of the city's guilds rallied to assist: Execumatrix Magnificus
Kiradawea Startail, her elemental assistant, and the Primus constructed
the physical form of the device; Chief Superintendent Entrias Pavok of
the Sentinel Company aeonically awoke it; Counsellor Ilian Pavok ensured
that the crystalline elements of the device were bought into harmonic
resonance; Archmage Ayisdra Ysav'rai and Force Commander Elanorwen Pavok
channelled the necessary power into the device to initiate it.

Thanks to the work of these leading Hallifaxian minds and performers,
the Basin of Life may rest safe in the knowledge that the threat has
been summarily dealt with. All should be wary, however, of malevolent
forces within the Dreaming that appear to be on the rise.
