War between New Celest and Magnagora swept through Lusternia in recent
months. Each attacked the other at the heart of their respective power,
several Holy Supernals of Celestia fell and at least one Demon Lord of
Nil was vanquished. The Demon Lord was brought unto the Star of Celest
where it transformed into a being of Light, attacking the globe of
darkness generated by the Necromentate. On the other side, the Holy
Supernals were enslaved by the Necromentate, transforming them into
beings of shadow and darkness that attacked the dome of light that
shielded New Celest. This war raged on and on, the balance of power
tipping from one side to the other, though in the end Magnagora came out
victorious. The dome of light over New Celest was shattered and the Star
of Celest winked out. The entities of shadow then attacked the Pool of
Stars itself, draining it of power and passing it on to the Megalith of
Doom.

New Celest quickly responded, bringing back the Holy Supernals which
vanquished the shadowy beings that were attacking the city of light.
Then through months of labor, they called down the Star of Celest once
more and rebuilt the dome of light. Now, both cities have withdrawn from
direct attack, though tension remains high as they are poised to strike
against each other.
