Avechna, the Avenger woke once more within the Basin of Life and made
His presence known to mortals throughout the planes, calling those that
wished to help strengthen one of the nine Great Seals to gather within
the Cave of Justice upon Avechna's Peak. Many mortals gathered within
the dark cave, representative of the many races, cities and communes
within the Basin. When all was again calm and each of the challengers
had made themselves known to the Avenger He gave them the rules of the
contest. Instead of the previous acts of violence and war, this
challenge would be that of words and wisdom, a debate.

Mortals were paired off and thinned down from a starting total of twenty
four until there were but six challengers remaining. Again the mortals
were paired off, thinning the finalists Astraea, Soll and Abethor from
the three remaining challengers. Athana, Forren and Kaervas were brought
into the presence of the Oneiroi, Norns and Erinyes, Who had overseen
the other debates, each of the two mighty Titans and Demigod were given
a chance to debate one another one time. Forren bested both Athana and
Kaervas in verbal combat, securing for himself the Seal of Justice, thus
strengthening the third Seal for another generation.
