A disease spread across the Basin, infecting hundreds of furrikin. The
Challenge of Life was to find and cure as many of these furrikin as
possible before they expired. Symptoms of the strange disease varied and
mutated from victim to victim, and thus the cure was ever elusive.
However, many persevered and found a way to cure these poor victims, and
indeed hundreds were saved.

But it was Aquamancer Soll of New Celest who saved more furrikin than
any other by far, thus deservedly claiming the Seal of Life for his own.
Second place went to Visaeris. Third place was tied between Krellan,
Shayle and Linwe. Fourth place went to Tervic and fifth place went to
Xenthos.
