I've just loaded up the defense overhaul code. Details can be found in
Overhaul post 33, with the following modifications:

Defences are given both a long (more descriptive) name, and a short name
used for interacting with the DEFS system. When viewing active defences
using the DEF command, lines for converted defences will have the
following format:

<Long defence name> (<short def name>).

Additionally, the short defence name will be an MXP link to DEFS INFO
<defence>, if MXP is enabled.

At present, the only converted defences are the mercy, kingdom,
perfection, and beauty enchantments, all of which are identical in
function to their pre-overhaul versions.
