You are mistaken.

The Old Celestian Empire still exists. It is lead by His Most Divine
Grace, the Undead Emperor, Ladantine the seventh, Righteous Ruler of the
Basin of Life and True Heir to the Star Throne of Celest, as it has been
since His ascent to throne of the Celestian Empire. In His graceful
mastery of the arts of dreamweaving, diplomacy and high planar physics,
amongst His countless other skills and virtues, masterminded the first
voyage to the Astral Plane and if not for the tampering of His Divine
Grace's rebellious daughter, Marilynth, He would have not only awakened
Avechna and, in doing so, resealed the Soulless God Kethuru, but ushered
the Empire into a new age of Vernal Gods and Goddesses, eternal life
through the use of the essence of Kethuru, the Almighty, in the manner
first discovered by the Elder God Fain Himself, along with the
assistance of His allies.

New Celest, in it's treasonous rebellion against the true and rightful
rule of His Most Divine Grace, Emperor Ladantine VII and the Capital of
the sole province, which remains loyal to the glorious Empire that
brought peace to the Basin and endless bounty to all within and now
Capital of the Empire Itself, repeats the mistakes of old. The citizens
of Celest, in their illogical fear of the taint, seek to overthrow all
rightful authority in the Basin of Life, cause civil war in the Great
Empire of Magnagora, The Engine of Transformation and seek to prevent
progress and the rise of entirety of mortalkind into our rightful places
as the heirs to the noble Elder Gods who sacrificed Themselves through
Their shattering so that the Soulless would not snuff out the spark of
life that Dynara brought forth into creation.

It brings a tear to my eye to see New Celest shame those noble Elders
sacrifice so. I strongly urge the province of New Celest to end it's
foolhardy civil war against the Empire and join the Engine in spreading
the taint and undeath to all of the Basin and restoring the glory that
was lost when Marilynth destroyed the Islse of Old Celest and the
Capital of the Old Celestian Empire.
