Addressed to: Fly Sidd
"Sidd quits the guild." Those words in the guild logs appear... stark.
Though, somehow I find it fitting for one who was quite laconic; he
spoke mainly in action. Certainly there are no words that could express
the honour and appreciation that I personally have for Sidd as our
previous Tenebrous Wrath.
His rise was meteoric, unlike any I have ever seen before. I had the
honour to witness Sidd rise as a combatant and Cultist, assume the
mantle of Wrath (which, at the time, was in a state of flux), and be
granted ascendancy. It was his steadfast devotion to the Wyrd-- through
both the commune and cult-- that was his hallmark.
He brought credence to the scorpion style of combat, thrusting the
Nekotai into the world's attention. It is no matter of coincidence that
the Cult's numbers began to precipitously rise (especially among those
whom would take up the Mystery of Blood) as he garnered attention.
Likewise, his rise to ascendancy also marked a distinctive turnaround
point for the Dark Forest. Everything he did was for the commune.
Nothing else mattered but Glomdoring. From taking domoths, to defending
ethereal, acting as commander on many an aetherhunt, down to bringing
our enemy to their knees... and this is only a short list of
accomplishments which were achieved on a continual basis.
Our next Wrath has quite a role to fill, following in the footsteps of
one so behemoth. I do not think we shall ever see another quite like
Sidd, though I hope many continue to aspire to his level of utter
devotion. May he continue to walk with the strength of Grandmother
Scorpion. May he continue to serve the Wyrd,
Sincerely,
Poisonpaw Janalon Llaewell,
Mother of Nightmares
