The City of Celest

To the City of Celest You're all hypocrites. You preach about love and
valors, claiming you work towards a greater goal. All this time, all
I've seen here for so long was ignorance. Fear of the outside world,
scared about anything you didn't seem worth your time or of merit. You
criticized me and others that would take the time to learn about other
people and their ways. I can't believe I didn't know the reason till
now. It's not your way. Your way is to stay secluded
convincing yourselves that your way is the only way. And those who don't
believe the way are fools in your eyes. I loved the cities teachings,
but I hated the people. I hated the arrogance. I hated the ignorance. I
hated the lies and false justifications. I hated the pointless fighting
for the "Light" when it was only excuse for slaughter to kill those you
considered "Tainted", or unworthy.
The only thing I can't stand in that place is the people. The teachings
are pure, and the morals are strong and good. But if the Light is
drowned out by a flood of shameful lies and pride, then it's dark. The
Taint is its own thing. But lacking the ability to accept others, for
who they are, even if it may seem wrong, is worse than anything. I have
left your city, because you lie to yourselves. I realized that your true
belief was "My way is right or I'll kill you with the Light."
However, there are a couple of exceptions who reside in your city, and
still remain good friends of mine. Hopefully, their kindness and good
nature will preserve the little bit of Light that rests at the heart of
Celest.
