Greetings, Basin!

The Ministry of Culture in Hallifax would like to invite and encourage
all citizens of New Celest and Glomdoring who are on good terms with the
Collective, to participate in an esteem drive! Get out your best set of
robes or rags, and prepare for a long year of influencing.

The rules are simple. Just go about and influence as usual. When you've
reached 100% of your esteem, imbue it into any design of needle. Save
these needles up and send them, along with a signed letter, to Kio! You
may also catch him in the realms, which is preferable, to hand them to
him in person. Any needles mailed to Kio without a signed letter will be
considered a donation to the Collective, and be very appreciated!

But wait... did I mention there are prizes? Well, there are!

The top three contestants will receive credits, as well as the Divine
Favour of Lord Elostian. The size of the credit reward will increase
varied on the size of the participation. What does that mean? The larger
the number of needles brought in by all contestants, the larger the
credits the winners will receive! There are three thresholds of prizes,
broken down below...

For the first 34 needles:

1st place: 5 credits
2nd place: 3 credits
3rd place: 1 credit

Upon receiving needle number 35, the prizes increase to:

1st place: 10 credits
2nd place: 5 credits
3rd place: 3 credits

And if 80 needles are received, the prizes increase to:

1st place: 15 credits
2nd place: 10 credits
3rd place: 5 credits

If participation far outweighs what has been predicted (as we hope it
does!), the prizes could very well increase far beyond the above! Only
time (and your needles) will tell!

The contest begins at the time of this post, and shall run through 275
