Greetings, Basin.

This post is to inform you that a shop in Hallifax's marketplace,
located on the western side of Jade Company Tower, is now open for
auction. Any individual not enemied to Hallifax or its affiliated
factions may bid on this shop, barring citizens of Gaudiguch.

Here is how the auction will work. The starting price is 100,000 gold,
with minimum increments of 15,000 gold. (To find out the current price
of a shop, simply send me a message requesting this information.)

If you wish to bid, send me a message with your MAXIMUM BID. If your
maximum bid is the highest of all bids currently received, the current
price will be adjusted to one increment above the previous maximum bid
that was beaten. You will only pay that amount if your bid wins, even if
it is less than your maximum. Here is an example in case this is
confusing:

"The price of Shop A is currently 150,000 gold, held by Jeremiah
Gryphta. Trader Bob decides to bid, and informs the Chancellor that he
wishes to put forth a maximum bid of 250,000 gold on Shop A. Jeremiah
Gryphta's maximum bid was only 200,000 gold, so it is beaten by Trader
Bob's. The new price of Shop A is 215,000 gold, and Jeremiah Gryphta is
informed of this new number and that his bid was beaten."

Should you win, you will be expected to abide by the terms set forth by
Hallifax's Shop Owner's Contract. You should ask me for a copy of this
document to peruse before bidding! Please do not bid if the contract is
not agreeable to you, because if you win and decide you don't like the
terms, we will still take your money and you won't get a shop. You don't
want that.

**The auction will last from the time of this post until 1 Estar 334**

If you have any questions, you may ask me at any time.
