A call to my fellow shards of Tae

Addressed to: Everyone
Greetings, brothers and sisters, fellow shards of the great Divine known
as Tae. There is no doubt that our numbers within the Basin of Life are
few, that not many souls are drawn to a form that some consider slow,
clumsy, or lacking in wit. Then there are those of us that know the
truth, of the superiority of our forms.
But, what do we know of ourselves? Of our ancestors? Tae'dae have
existed for as long as any of the other races within the Basin, but what
can you tell me of their societies? Of their customs, rituals, habits,
cuisine? Most share an affinity for sweets, for honey, but is that all
we are? Intelligent, upright bears?
We can be more than this, I think. I extend an invitation to all tae'dae
within the Basin of Life to join me in creating a society of our own.
Your membership may be as public or as private as you wish. While
loyalty to guild, commune or city is paramount, there is no reason that
intelligent, thinking beings such as ourselves cannot come together to
discover our shared background and heritage. If you wish to join me in
forming the Basin of Life Association of the Shards of Tae, write me in
whatever form you deign fit and we shall speak.
