Better Flowers

There once was a bear with a garden,
She nurtured and loved it so,
Her flowers, they began to harden,
Their dying filled that bear with woe,
So she chopped and she cut and she cleaved and she carved,
She manufactured a new flower food,
Merians and Furrikin and others she starved,
To make a place where flowers would be good,
Inspired by Crumkane, she built this new place,
Filled it with corpses, a land of meat,
The flowers, they grew at an alarming pace,
These fields had no need for soil or peat,
The bear marveled at her creation,
For flowers grew vibrant and true,
She tended her garden with pure elation,
And the unwanted of society would rue,
And so the Cheerful Chopper was born,
Keeping the cities and forests pure,
No longer would the worthless create such scorn,
Not while the Chopper's work was sure.

Flowers are nice, yes yes. Big ones, small ones, round ones, tall ones.
Some are better than others, some smell nicer, but in the end all
Kurut's flowers are the best flowers, for only she provides them with
the best flower food the Basin has ever known.

Signed,
Kurut Bloodthorn (Formerly the Cheerful Chopper)

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Estar, in the year 401 CE.
