Hello! Odds are, if you're reading this you've seen my nagging people
about it on some aether, so thank you for taking the time to read it! I
am extending an invitation to everyone and anyone who wishes to
participate in our tournament, which I wish to make a bi-yearly event!
It will begin on the 25th of Juliary of this year, three months from
now, and costs nothing to join. There will, of course, be prizes for
winning! The more you win, the greater the prizes!

When & Where?

It will be held in the Manse DARKNIGHT, which should be available to
everyone. We will be meeting in the Aetherplex shortly beforehand just
in case! There will be a bit of time to wait for people coming in late,
and we will try to begin by noon.

Who?

Everyone is allowed to come! I will not turn anyone down if they have
the will to play. I will of course be hosting and funding the event, and
there /may/ be a Divine present as well! I am working out the final
details as we speak.

Why??

I wish to propose a healthy atmosphere of competition that does not
involve the clashing of ideals and blades, and to further the
intellecual side of our Basin. In chess, everyone is given an equal
playing field and an equal chance of victory, as well as defeat. What
better way to face one another?

What can we win?

I will be supplying prizes for those who manage to win at least one game
and beyond! The basic prize for winning one game will be 5k gold, while
those who manage to win two will be given Goldentonics! The final prize
for the winner will be something special, but I will leave it as a
surprise for now.
