I am happy to announce the upcoming Festival of Light, scheduled to be
held this coming Kiani, Dioni, Vestian and Avechary!

Citizens of Gaudiguch, Glomdoring and Magnagora will be permitted within
the city limits while events are being run, on the provision that they
do not cause trouble while within the city limits, under pain of being
enemied to the City of Celest and possible Divine Retribution (subject
to the whims of the Patrons of Celest or your own city or commune.)
Those who currently have been branded an enemy of Celest may approach
myself or Kreon to request a temporary amnesty for the purpose of
attending a specific event. Approval or denial will be determined by the
Star Council. Their decision will be considered final. If one seeks
amnesty and subsequently commits a crime or causes discord within the
city limits, the amnesty will be immediately revoked and subsequent
requests for the duration of the festival will be denied.

Essence contest:
Only essence from corpses will be considered for this contest. Essence
yielded from figurines will be subtracted from individual totals.
Affinity essence granted naturally to order members will not be factored
in, to allow for a level field. Prize currently to be finalised. This
contest will start when either myself or Lord Weiwae shouts that the
contest has officially begun, ending Avechary 1st. This is to allow Lord
Weiwae opportunity to clear His offering logs so all will have a level
field.

PLEASE BE AWARE that dates MAY be postponed by a day or more subject to
availability of event wardens, sufficient participants and the whim of
Divinity and/or event organisers.

At this immediate point in time, the following individuals have
volunteered their services:

Shraga Stonekeep (Lord Weiwae's attendant)

There will also be THREE mystery items up for auction, for those who are
feeling adventurous. Funds from the mystery auctions will go to the city
coffers, while the funds from the auctions of those who are volunteering
their services will go towards the coffers of either the city, or the
Patron of their choice. Terms and conditions will apply pertaining to
requests made of those offering their services, including the ability
to, within reason, deny requests that are contrary to
personal/city/order beliefs, or may result in being enemied with a
faction.

Tessera Tournament - Dioni 3rd 482 (Starts at the turn of the weave) A
minimum of six participants will be required for this to go ahead.

At random times, subject to sufficient participants, the following games
will be run:
Arena matches (Any kind - Wargames, Free For All, Freeze tag, Slippers)
Vengeance

Performance from the Order of the Golden Heart - DATE TO BE DETERMINED -
Members of the Divine order of Weiwae will perform the three forms of
the Open Hand of Abanoi, followed by a question and answer session for
those who wish to learn more about Weiwae and His order.

Lusternian Trivia - Dioni 20, 482 - Brush up on your general knowledge
and pit yourself against others and prove your intellect among your
peers!

GRAND CELESTIAL BALL - Dioni 25, 482 - Dress up in your finest garb and
dance the night away with your partner. Prizes will be allocated for
King and Queen of the Ball, Best outfit, plus more. Theme: The Light of
Celestia (Outfits should ideally be themed around those that dwell upon
the cosmic plane of Celestia.)

Again, at random times, subject to sufficient participants, Arena and
Vengeance games will be run.

Wargames 3 vs 3 - Vestian 15, 482 - Team up with two other individuals
and prove yourselves the rulers of the Arena.

Debating tournament - Vestian 20, 482 - Prove yourself a master of mind
over might in this battle of words.

Warchess - Vestian 25, 482 - Form a team and prove yourselves masters of
the chessboard!
