I'm sorry. I know you're just a lonely little bunny inside of your harsh, Magnagoran exterior.

Actually not lonely.. But I'm really not that harsh, that's the sad thing.. Nobody really understands Visaeris because they just brush him off as "hurr hurr kill" sad.gif

The one or two civilized conversations Eldrich had with Visaeris, he actually liked him, and thought he was a decent guy.

Then he found out that Visaeris is the father of lies and deceit.

That idea went out the door.

It's not the size of your number, it's what you do with it that counts.
Daganev2004-10-26 23:30:51
sorry but theres nothing cool with being the letters of the alphabet. being a god however...
Eldrich2004-10-26 23:53:55
You're just saying that because you're number one hundred and six...
Unknown2004-10-27 02:05:14
Hrm wonder which I am, testing
Unknown2004-10-27 04:17:06
You're all freaks. 'Nuff said.

On a side note, don't hurt me Visaeris! We're in the same guild! blink.gif

Visaeris isn't that bad. He's not a bunny, he's a soft, cuddly teddy bear hiding behind his armour. *sagenod* Let it be said, however, that softness and armour don't go well together, which is why Visaeris is so grumpy.

See? Grumpy.

Besides, I've picked at a few things he's said, and his response has been quite... well, boring. I preferred the argument with Eldrich, even though he made me feel like I was dealing with someone who was just a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

Everyone's number one. Just...different levels of the same number. And Estarra HAD to be number one, it's an ego thing. *waggle*

Y'know, the 'RANKINGS' command in-game is mighty useful.

And since I'm such an uber-newbie-uber-noob, I'm unranked. Woo.
Unknown2004-10-27 10:55:57
Amazing how such an extended conversation can develop from such a miscellaneous beginning... *laughing* I think that's really quite geeky of all of you! *grins*
Bau2004-10-27 10:57:35
Who're you calling a geek? I'm a nerd.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:02:33
I'm a self-professed geek but I'm not yet intelligent enough to be called a nerd... but I'm working on it damnit!

n. Slang

1. A foolish, inept, or unattractive person.
2. A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.

Geeks are clumsy, nerds are unattractive... there goes my theory that geeks are just cooler than nerds.

The definition lags behind the popular culture interpretations. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:12:04
Then I'll throw in my own interpretation which might actually have been more helpful in my last post...

Both are smart and good at obsessing over things to the point where everything else stops mattering. Normally in sciencey things but can be anything really. Generally in areas that are "uncool" to most society (like games, trains, trading cards, anime that kinda thing). The only real difference I have is that nerds are extremely intelligent about their topic to a greater extent than the geek. The geek has a lot of geeky things they do but the nerd has one subject and nearly nothing else. They are veery intelligent. Or something.

Vagueliness! As a geek I like to collect up geeky hobbies including all those I mentioned above (with the exception of trains), and more... been through a lot in my time... and why am I talking about this..? Time to shut up methinks biggrin.gif

On that topic name my avatar for a free geeky cookie! *grin*
Bau2004-10-27 11:14:28
We nerds and geeks need good explanations. *sagenod* Soon you'll catch me and Dag in posts, Angel, then you'll truly be nerdy/geeky like us... *contentsigh*
Unknown2004-10-27 11:18:22
Ack! My plan revealed so soon! A tragedy indeed...

Well I don't know... I might eventually... but I generally get bored of forums pretty quickly. Let's see what happens... hehe... I just signed up quick to reserve this name! *hugs it tightly and won' let go!*
Bau2004-10-27 11:22:47
Heheh, I only get bored if I stop looking for a few days. If I look everyday... well... you're all doomed. DOOMED!
