QUOTE (Thorgal @ Nov 3 2004, 08:22 PM)
Judging someone cause of previous characters and acting accordingly of that, is even worse though.
We are judging and acting from an OOC perspective. In game, my character likes Visaeris even if he does think he is overbearing, pompous and largely self-centred.
QUOTE (Mordrin @ Nov 3 2004, 08:29 PM)
Not really, I can judge people on past experience all I want to out of character. You're welcome to your own opinions, just don't say I didn't warn you.
Ditto, kind of at least
QUOTE (Visaeris Maeloch @ Nov 4 2004, 02:23 AM)
Err.. Not really.
More like a variation of an old character. In a lot of ways it is easy to pick out a lot of the people who have been playing in IRE games for years, because a lot of the people behind the characters shines through, and back then there were only a few hundred of us, so we knew a greater percentage of the realms better.
On another note, any of you Aussie Imperianites who live in NSW/QLD (cant remember where he moved) and plays Magic the Gathering, lemme know so I can get you to pester Thakren to start MUD's (and Lusternia in particular) up again.

*bump*
Why? I dunno. Just felt like bumping something old.

Thread bumpers need to be put down.

Well, since it's been resurrected...
Woot! Yeah! Look at the pretty trees! There's no taint here! The Ebonglom? It's natural. We don't know where it came from.
Shame on me for forgetting that detail out of the histories. I can see the warped Viravain not seeing those things, but...don't us mortals remember things like that from our history lessons?

Oh yeah, for all those in this forest (disciples of crow) thing arguing against why the Serenwilde is angry at you...here you go.
Read the history files!
Brief:
There were 3 communes all working together as a forest council
Gloriana got tainted
They kidnapped the High Druid from Ackleberry (another commune friendly to the Serenwilde)
They fed that High Druid, Gib Gladheart, taint until he was changed into the tainted form of a large black worm. Oh, did I say fed, I meant they held him against his will and FORCE FED him taint as Rowena stood by and laughed.
Oh yeah, we aren't evil! (as claims stand)

Except it doesn't mean that we have to see it as tainted IC... we can see it as "being fed the essence of the Gloriana/Glomdoring, which he protested due to not realizing how much it would benefit him. As he ate more, he began demanding to be fed, and slowly adapted to Mother Night/Brother Crow's form as his body was shaped by the essence of shadows he consumed. Eventually, he became the Ebonglom Wyrm, the pride of the forest."
And, um, I haven't heard a single person say "The Ebonglom? It's natural. We don't know where it came from." Every time I've been asked I say much of what I said above. Nice assumption, though

Damn thread necroers. >.> I think it's extremely ironic, though, bringing this back, given how not long ago Visaeris was removed from the Glomdoring.
