Tailoring, Jewelry, Cooking, Forging...I have the skill list for forging and jewelry, but have no idea of those for tailoring or cooking. Also, which of these 4 would you advise in terms of being useful for myself and/or producing decent amounts of gold?

Forging is always going to turn a nice sovereign....the underlying problem with this system of forging is the ungodly amount of commodities needed. And diamonds........they are a pain to get so if you can handle that stress, go for it.

Jewelry goes hand in hand with the above complaint Gem commodities are a pain to get but when you get them, if you get a diamond, you are in business. Plus, people are pretty much going to need rings and the like for enchantments so that can pay off as well.

Cooking is iffy and I probably wouldn't choose it personally. In Magnagora, it's pretty much useless because so many people have Necromancy. I would imagine Serenwilde would be the same with Forage so.

Tailoring is good because people need clothes and people will want the Greatrobes *refer to diamond rant* So....it's difficult to say.

Having no wilderness map makes foraging damn near worthless.

Well the fact that foraging is a reason not to learn cooking...
I was in serenwilde, nobody likes to forage. You could get decent money as a cook.
The other ones would most likely get more money, however.

I would personally become a cook. Due to th elack of booze out there at good prices, i could make a killing by opening up a bar.

I addressed Forging in my post as well. I only mentioned foraging as a reason why cooking might be a bit less effective.

I'm and cook and enjoy it. It's not the biggest money-maker, though.

If you only rely on foraging to get food then you'd have starved a long time ago. I think the only reason that squirrels are not extinct is the fact that they are small and when they finally find some berries then it lasts for a long time, provided they manage to find the spot where they stored it.

I've lived basically off foraging. You just need to be both persistent and somewhat clever where you forage (not telling, I like my food free).
