From an IC perspective, no, Guido does not hate Serenwilde. Nor do I, OOCly. In Guido's public note he made it clear that we still liked the Serenwilde, wished it no harm, and hoped they can have peaceful, good relations in the future. This was after he had even been killed twice already.
It was ignored, and the violence continued, intensified, even. So you can see why Guido is fairly upset with the Serenwilde, and why I as a player am quite a bit moreso.
But still, Guido and I have nothing against the Serenwilde, just those handful in it, as I stated.

This really has gotten out of hand. He's died, been punished. Let it be, Serenwilde.
Richter2004-11-02 05:42:38
You don't know Richter well then. I've RPed hating the commune for the most part so far. Richter never liked the "tree huggers".
Please, don't talk if you don't know what you're talking about. You don't know that I "served something with all my heart." I was the dark hart. I got in trouble over ct. I hated everyone outside my guild, and some in it.

Fear of being completely smashed by myself and the avenger once the bug with group attacks is fixed?
Killing someone over and over and over to the point where they don't want to play is screwed up. Period.
Sekreh2004-11-02 06:45:50
There's no excuse for bug abuse
Thats basically how it is.
Yes, Sekreh contributed to what i believe was Guido's second death, though I found much IC reason to do so and don't find myself unjustified. It disconcerts me that Serens were abusing bugs to kill you further, and I must say I stand against such abusers completely. For one, you don't and didn't need to be killed 562435 times to pay for your crimes real or perceived against the Serenwilde. Abusing a bug for any reason is wrong. Serkeh believed and believes the crime is real, especially as a power aide in the commune.
I am truly sorry to hear of this discraceful act on the part of my commune mates and I apologize, whatever that's worth. It would suck if you stopped playing because of all this, that's not good for anyone.

Let's put it this way - in Achaea, flagrant abuse of bugs got people shrubbed. It would be quite fitting for those Serenwilders who abused this hex bug to become a green thing of nature they love so much, in my opinion.
I like Lusternia for the fact PK is so different - I don't really mind dying, for the most part, since it's been for IC reasons and roleplay, or a result of bashing. But when it goes beyond that, to make someone miserable, and harass them like it appears has happened here...
I have no respect for losers who place firewalls around Bobs so they can gain easy levels killing off novices, or people with no vials. I personally try and hunt those who do such around newbie areas just for the fun of it. As for those who place hexes at the Portal of fate, and push them in, so you can abuse a bug and kill someone through grace...you are trash. Plain and simple, and horrid roleplayers to abuse a misweave.
For the ones who did flagrantly abuse this bug, I hope you get shrubbed, or at least punished most severely, especially the one who shouted it was REPORTED, and as such was going to abuse it until it was fixed - Lusternia doesn't need your kind, plain and simple.
Guido, best of luck to you - I have high hopes things manage to turn out well.

One thing. I never have or ever will abuse any bug. I was not involved in the hexing of Guido through grace, the grace he had was from me killing him earlier. I sought him out, in New Celest, forced him to follow me, took him outside, and killed him. I also spoke to Celest beforehand, and they have since said that he is not welcome, nor will he be protected in New Celest. I also chastised Thakin for abusing the bug, and then boasting about it in shouts. He bears my disfavour.
Unknown2004-11-02 12:01:58
Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention that I am Tuek, well there goes the Anonymity.
Edit: And Guido, you placed my name alongside those who you say abused a bug (I'm only aware of Thakin) as if I was one who abused a bug, when you know as well as I do, that I didn't. You weren't graced when I forced you out of New Celest then killed you.

That really is unbelievably lame, it's petty enough that they kill you over and over for stealing a small amount of power, but to stoop to abusing bugs to achieve this is just ridiculous. All I can say is don't let these idiots stop you from playing the game and having fun, I'm sure they'll be delt with soon enough.

#1 Shouldn't this be in the Idiots forum?
#2 One person took advantage of the bug. Thakin. Placing dispersions on the rest for his actions is pathetic.
#3 Guido not only stole power he he left the commune to support a faction that actively supports Crow. As the purpose of Crow is to slay WhiteHart any supporters of WhiteHart has a perfectly valid reason to seek the death of any follower of Crow.
#4 Sew the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind. As I fully expect the one who took advantage of the bug to be punished. I fully expect Guido to suffer the consequences of making himself an enemy of the Seren or at least certain factions within it.

Guido made it fairly clear he was willing to accept the consequences of his actions. The issue is certain people took these consequences to huge extremes, even going so far as to abuse bugs in order to ruin his Lusternian life.

Lord Auseklis said: "...*anyone* who is caught abusing bugs, will find himself severely punished."..let's hope this is true and word will be kept. The "good" forestals will probably have to work on Ackleberry, since Serenwilde is turning evil and glomdoring is tainted.

Allright, Tuek, I was still fuzzy on that. I had been scrolling up to read some news posts, and when I went back down you had already lead me out of the city. By the way you put so many afflictions on me before killing me I thought you might have been abusing it.
But still, Thakin is not the only one who abused it, Cron. Don't post if you have no idea what is going on.

I thought only Thakin was involved. And also, the bug is that pushed hexes go through grace (or walking into hexes that you are enemied too), there is no bug that would allow me to give afflictions faster.

He isn't being killed over and over by the same people, he is being killed once by many individuals, and it is more then just because he stole power. He was a traitor, who left Serenwilde to join a group directly opposed to Serenwilde, stole power, and now attempts to raise Crow, who's goal is to slay White Hart.

I don't recall saying it was the same people. Which particular individual did the killing at which point doesn't even factor in to my opinion of Serenwilde's repeated killing and bug abuse being lame.
Unknown2004-11-02 14:35:54
The bug abuse was by one person, Thakin, one time. He was severly chastised, and the divinities will most likely lecture him as well.

Unknown2004-11-02 14:45:38
Yes it was, I agree with you on that. However, you are grouping all Serenwilders together as if they all participated hand in hand to abusing a bug
