Alrighty so what are everyone's favorites? *watches the spam of Katamari Damaci*

Anyway, I simply LOVE Kingdom Hearts.....yeah! Love it and the next one is going to be even better.

FFVII of course because you aren't a gamer until you know FFVII

Right now I am playing Killzone and it is fun but I can't say how much I love/hate it until I am done but it is pretty sweet so far.

Halo

GTA Series

Socom II

FFXI

Socom

Warcraft III

Elderscrolls III:Morrowind

That's all I can think of but has anyone played Crusaders: Kingdom Under Fire or the new Lord of the Rings yet?
Hiriako2004-11-05 18:04:50
Hmm...in the time I'm not on Lusternia, I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, that's a great one.

Favorite games though...

Fallout (1+2)

Arcanum

Civilization (any of them created by Sid Meier, not the crap Activision put out)

Total War series (Shogun, Medieval, Rome)

Out-of-the-Park Baseball simulator...if you like baseball, check this thing out! It's really indepth. www.ootpdevelopments.com

Galactic Civilizations

Disgaea

Unreal Tournament (original or 2004, not 2003)

There, a fairly comprehensive list of games I could play constantly.
Atmos2004-11-05 18:15:10
That's an incredibly difficult question... let's see... favourite games other than Lusternia...

Day of Defeat
Final Fantasy IV
Chrono Trigger
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Fallout
Final Fantasy Tactics

I can't think of any others right now. dry.gif

Also, FFVII is vastly over-rated IMHO. In terms of gameplay, it really didn't seem to add much to the series. Still decent, but definitely over-rated.

FFVII is the greatest game ever made. Actually, vincent is the model for Richter, at least his face. If only I could figure out how to put up my avatar on here...

Kingdom hearts, zombies ate my neighbors, halo, FF series, golden sun series, gta series, devil may cry, castlevania.

Not true! FFVII is the second greatest game ever made after Terranigma.
Shiri2004-11-05 19:32:12
>_< Wow. I didn't know ANYONE played that game, Terranigma, except me. I'd have to say FF7's the best though still. I got horribly stuck at Terranigma, I suck at it. Devil May Cry, FF7, System Shock 2, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, Soul Calibur 2...they're about as good as you get. FF6, too. And Tales of Phantasia was pretty classic once Dejap got their hands on it.

If you played it through you would know FF7 doesn't compare. Cloud Stife has nothing on Arc! cool.gif

Yeah, I know, but I kept getting through on skill rather than levelling, so I sort of gave up when I spent the entire battle doing one damage per strike to the Bloody Mary. Mehhhhh. Cloud Stife isn't a person BTW wink.gif Fatal Frame 2 was pretty awesome, too, now that I think of it.
Thalacus2004-11-05 22:03:26
Well, for the oldies FF VI, Tales of Phantasia and Chrono Trigger just have to be mentioned.

Right now, I'm hooked to Rome:Total War and Warcraft 3 FT.

As for Final Fantasy, well, despite hearing lots of other things from many people, I still find VII to be the best of the modern ones. FF IX were pretty neat as well.

Morrowind was cool, but it could have been better. So much potential for an AWESOME game there...

And let's not forget Fallout, the best singleplayer computer RPG there ever was.
Shiri2004-11-05 22:55:09
Chrono Trigger. Dyamn I loved that. I keep missing these things out. And FT too, but the community sucked. *spoilt by IRE darnit* I hear FFXI actually has nice players on it, bizarrely enough for an online game.

Somehow...I just didn't like Fallout. It seemed really, really difficult to me. If we're talking singleplayer computer RPGs, I'd stick with System Shock 2. (even though that sort of is a shooter...it has RPG elements though!) That had one of the best plots going, too. I can't wait for Bioshock. Darn you Americans getting these things before us >_<

(And I garuntee when Halo2 comes out, you won't see me for a week, even without the Mt. Dew biggrin.gif )
Unknown2004-11-06 06:23:20
there's only one game that really matters in terms of continuity, storyline, character design, graphics, and battle flow.

Final Fantasy 7

Simple as that. Best game ive ever played, by far. Other than that, i play alone in the dark, the resident evil series, and silent hill alot.
