It would be very nice if after every line there was not a carriage return, and just let the text wrap around to the next line. Having a carriage return makes it very difficult to write scripts, and I'm just not talented or creative enough to come up with my own fix.
For example, in room descriptions, exits usually wrap around to the next line. However, the MUD doesn't treat it all as one line, but as two separate lines
Also, please put a carriage return after the prompt! Or at least allow us to customize our prompts and use carriage returns for ourselves. Prompts are the number 1 source of spam, and it would be nice to be able to gag the prompt without completely screweing everything up. I have tried to write gag scripts for the prompt, and it just ends up gagging the wrong things.

The linebreaks are done in Rapture, and so you're stuck with it. This is also why the WHO list breaks before commas in some cases. Grrr....

Actually, Aeyr (in Achaea) recently patched the code he had started a looong time ago that allows for us to specify our own line width. Some of us with godlike resolutions would like to be able to stretch things out to about 120 characters or so. When they did this in Achaea, it actually helped to screw with illusions and triggers, too. Fun for everyone!

Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

Roark hot on the job - see one of the recent announces (82? 83?)
The syntax, by the way appears to be prompt add linebreak, although I didn't see that listed.
