Yeah, so that's why knights can easily get 20+ srength here with almost no efforts and able to kill almost anyone below level 40 in 2 hits? Makes plenty of sense to me...

Even though high strength doesn't affect health, you have to realize that all races with high str are also coupled with high constitution, so basically a two for one deal, while all high mana classes have pitiful health to start with (except the Master Viscanti, lucky buggers with 13 constitution and 16 int sad.gif . So either you get some decent health and does no magical damage, or you do better damage and die in 2 to 3 rounds.

Magical damages can still be blocked through Magic skillset, fire and frost vials, in addition to skills such as water spiritshield, elementshield, draconis, drawdown, etc. So I don't really see why someone's saying that there are few ways to reduce magical damage.

Like said many times before, there's no point in talking about PK if you're below level 50...

That is not quite right. A magical spell that produces heat has a magical source, but it is not a magical damage. Thus the Magic skillset would not reduce its damage.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, Roark. It's still disheartening to point staff at someone like Tuek, for a whopping 600 damage with 18 intelligence, and it's your only source of damage besides your turtle that does barely any damage at all. So at least magical attacks can be reduced fairly significantly and there does exists a number of skills to protect yourself from them.

P.S.- I also forgot enchanted robes as well, though at the moment they aren't working at all. sad.gif

The turtle has an attack doing over 1K damage, but it only uses it once in a while.
