I checked how fast i can writhe free if iam size 9 and size 15.
Merian with size 9 can writhe free in 2300 ms and with size 15 in 2700ms. So diminish and enlarge spell are usfull indeed.
What you think about size? i heard somewhere that if you are smaller, then it's harder to hit you. Is it true ?

I think that's true. It's also easier to be moved and to be summoned.

If I barge someone, or tackle, they've got little hope of resisting it. If a faeling barges, or tackles, me, it probably won't shift me. I think. Hehe. (Im an igasho IC)

Not OOC!? Well, there goes a daydream

Maybe they should make Tae'daes take longer getting through doors

I'm 6'6" and I have long shaggy hair, maybe I'm an Igasho?
Consequently, I like having a large size. Invoke Summer (and the highmagic equivalent) mostly make up for the slow writhe, considering the other things you still have to writhe from don't hurt you all that much.
The longer time to be summoned and the difficulty in being moved is really nice, and I also like the way size effects hunger.
Unknown2004-12-03 01:24:08
It affects hunger? How?
Unknown2004-12-03 02:11:46
When he eats a faeling he's not hungry any more. Faelings can't eat Tae'daes. That's the difference.

It was explained in another thread, so you can go back and check to see if I got the details right, but I believe it was either Auseklis or Fain that said that Big Size = Get hungry faster, but when you do eat, you are fuller quicker, and little means you dont get hungry as fast but you need to eat lots to get full.
Overall, you end up having to eat the same amount per time, but there are obvious advantages in having large size and small size (which should be self evident)

-g- That somehow doesn't make sense...I'm thinking it's more like: big size = need more to get full, but don't get hungry again too fast, and little size = need less to get full, but get hungry again faster.

You stated it in the correct order, Thorgal.

So, conceivably, you could shrink yourself, eat less to make yourself full, then enlarge yourself, so you won't have to eat soon?

Wow. I hadn't even thought of that use for it. Muaha...
