The pacifism seems a bit harsh to me, partially just watching it all, i suppose its because ive never been killed unless I've gone out to join a raid or a fight, and never been "bullied" though perhaps my definition is different, out of all the fights ive been on, only 1 or 2 ever wound up off prime, and those slowly died out when the angels on celestria got to hard to beat on the big ones (rumors of room attacks killin large groups in one or two shots) so everything gets back down to the influencing of cities and the battles over the sea quests. Dumihru's idea of the sea's being freepk zones make sense.
The big thing here seems to be the fight between those that feel pk is part of rp, and those that feel lit detracts. Personally i lean towards the first side, i havent seen many "mindless thugs" or the ones that are there is part of the role and kept their killing restricted to the villages etc. while maintaing a "mindless thug" role. Also the champion thing should be adressed would be intersetin to see the ability to transfer the suspect to the champion rescuin someone, instead of the champion havin to stand there thumb up arse to see if (s)he'll be attacked or they jus wanna pick on a noob.
As much as it sucks to get pk'd the constant worry of it bein able to happen i think is a good draw to a game where most of us are used to the relative safety of reality, its still reasonably safe in certain areas in the game, but if you step out of them , the risk of diein should be there, you go and do somethin thats opposed to a city, an order a guild, or even an individual, expect them to be upset with you, and in these games the thing with the longest lasting impression, is death, maybe a pavlov's dog ring a bell you can die reaction *Smirk*

The Avenger is abit odd now, I don't understand the Pacifism thing, so you die to avenger it pacifies you, isn't there a cure for it? Or is it a certain time before it leaves?

You just have to wait it out.

I can't believe sooooooooo many people have missed EVERYTHING I've been saying about PK. You all seem to look at my posts, and see nothing but me being against PK. Honestly, try reading my stuff a little more, and you'll understand better.
PK IS a part of the game. It SHOULD be there.
But if you wanna go basing everything you do around PK, what is the game, but just a FPS? Honestly. Yes, lots and lots of it is built around conflict with other people. Yes, there are lots of things enabling people to kill others. We also gained trade skills, and bassicly complete control over the economy. Guilds now have complete political meaning to their cities. The skill of influencing has been added so that we aren't confined to just killing. There are quests focusing around things other than killing, that cause the cities of the land to wax and wane in power over one another.
Despite the fact that there has been a deffinate increase in purpose to kill other players, there has been an even greater increases in ways to go through conflict without resorting to simple violence. The game isn't simply about killing others.
If all you are here to do, is have fun killing people, and finding the best ways to do that, go play CS or some other MMO, where all you do is kill.
Once again, Pk is a part of the game, and should be there. There are always gonan be reasons for fighting and killing. Good! The game wouldn't be what it is without that.
But if even the Gods don't want as much PK going on as had been, then obviously there shouldn't be as much. I think Eastarra said something to the effect that they never thought there would be, nor wanted, the amount of PK'ing going on as there was.

With the conflictions between Magnagora and Celest, -alot- of killing is going to be going on, regardless of who doesn't want or intend for it to be there. That's what most of us are addressing here. Pacifism -is- shafting this in every aspect. It stops us from being able to defend our places on prime, our Citymates, all met to us by others attacking someone else. It's a unconfirmed war, two hostile nations at one another. Lots of murder is to be expected. It's Celests' goal to eradicate the Taint, and this is set to us by our history. I don't see anywhere in influence, granted I'm only up to divert, that has us mow down Taint, in any form, or hinder it by telling it off, or making it feel small. "You stupid, mucky cloud of Taint! Your mama wears Army boots, and your daddy was obese!"
Besides, the influence skill is directly for denizen reaction, I can't seem to mock Daevos. :cm: So, that's fine. I even influence to gain levels, especially my early 30 to 50 ones. But understand that this thread is about a -pk- thing, it's addressing relations between people that's only handled by -pk-, and you're being -dense- thinking that it's wrong of us to want to get mad when we get peaced for defending our own territories and upholding the ideals to that which we are built upon. Our goal is simple: Taint must go. Our goal is not Taint must think little of itself, or confined to be poor by the economy. Its death is the only accept means, and if you cannot understand this you are in the wrong City.
Lastly, no one understands what you say in your posts because you're failing to see just how much we need to kill our enemies to fulfill what it's we are to do. Most of us complaining here have the job of killing. It's a relative few to what the City makes up of any the Nations speaking here. The only reason I can see is that you don't see PK as necessary as we do because you're not a fighter.. Hell, I've never really understood what it is you do DO, but that's another topic.

Rafeal, I've said my piece. You can go on thinking there is nothing to the game but fighting and killing, I don't care. You can go on, never understanding anything I said, because you're too ignorant to consider there beign anythgin but PK. I don't care, that's your loss.
I understand the positions of the cities. I understand the conflict with the Taint. I know why people fight the taint. I understand it all. Trust me, I know that PK is a part of the game, as I have said agian and again. I'm just also seeing that there was way way too much PKing going on, and that the Divin thought so too, and nothing but a bunch of whining from people who act as if that's all there is to the game.
So, enjoy.
