Please oh please fix my parry, It sucks when someone else can have free range of my limbs while I have to work out where to parry

Nope. I usually set both my arms and legs at 25%, and I parry often enough.

Rhysus....I dunno what your on about mate, but I have the parry ability, and it definitley does not work.

Stop complaining and change guilds already

If you spread your parrying too thin or have low ranks in Combat and Knighthood/Bonecrusher then your parrying will be infrequent. It does not distinguish between maces and swords, so I'm guessing it is one of the above issues. Parry is meant to work well when you focus on one body part but be weak when spread across 7 limbs. (Though in other realms you can't even parry multiple limbs...) Your combat stance (not to be confused with fighting style) can also improve your parrying ability in certain body parts.

I spar Saraxus (bonecrusher) every day, and he sure as hell is parrying my stuff and retaliating nastily doing so. Often he broke my jaw with just the coule while I just get to slice an artery with my coule.

Well maybe it's just some people or some weapons, but I sure as hell am not an idiot when it comes to bonecrushering. I'm trans combat and bonecrusher, and I have yet to parry with blunt weapons... I can parry with a sword just fine, but I wield a mace and no go.

odd, master wailing skull maces here. spread my parry out evenly over all limbs, and often parry with a coule. I have up to weaponparry in combat.

Hmmm I belive richter uses mace, I use maces (damn expensive ones too) and aajen uses maces......

Perhaps Maces are broken. Saraxus uses morningstars so perhaps the problem lies there

something else to think about.. Daganev has really low dex and should not be parrying a lot. I parry maybe once ever 8 hits to the area. So take a look at your dex.

It cannot be an issue with any of that type of thing.... I can take a longsword (I'm a bonecrusher) have someone hit me, and I parry just like I'm supposed to.... however I do everything exactly the same, but with maces, and I don't parry at all. It's gotta be that there is something wrong with those of us that can't parry... we have some sort of personal bug.

One question- how the hell do you parry with a flail?

Another recent test, just parried larm 100, and had morslade hit me till nearly dead twice, not one parry. Thats about 15 -20 hits

EDIT: Ok I just fought someone who is a good parrier but way less than my might....CMON I JUST LOST ON DAMAGE CAUSE HE PARRIED EVERY SECOND ATTACK.....I'm getting stressed here

the answer to this is simple. Ye are tainted fools, blinded by the clouds that cover your minds. While I am of the light, and I can see as clear as a falcon. Leave your clouded minds behind and join the light, then you will truly see what combat is like. (and you'll be able to parry).
