Who said she was of the light? She's obviously not warm towards Magnagora, but I imagine Hallifax and Gaudiguch will, when they come into existence, scramble for her (Well, the warrior guild), assuming more elder gods don't come into existence before then.
Unknown2004-12-05 08:23:01
Damn, I was waaay off on the circles thing tongue.gif

I don't think Raezon is of the First Circle. Fain shouted something along the lines of, "I'm the only one in the First Circle left."

Many of the Gods left Lusternia when the Soulless attacked, save for the Third Circle, which consisted of Krokano, Orlachmar, Tae, Trilliana, Meridian, Elfenhoala, Loboshi, Igas, Tauro, Aslarn, Clangorum, Xyl, Dracnoris, Mugwumpoi.

I'm pretty sure all the other Divine left for the Void, since (quoth Auseklis from ages ago on the forums)..."The Divine are scared of very few things. Kethuru and his emissions are one of them."

Although when Lacostian shouted, "Welcome back Terentia, you served Meridian well," it made me curious as to what that meant. I'm guessing that in the Elder Wars there will be some reference to Meridian being a leader.

EDIT: Although I originally thought Xyl was of the Thinkers Circle, he fragmented into the Lucidian, so I assume he was actually in the Third (like the other Gods who fragmented).

The only problem with grouping all of those gods in as a single circle is that they don't all seem to fall under that type of common stereotyping. The races got their characteristics from their fractered Elder forebears, and there are some that just seem more aggressive than others from a style point of view.

What I'm wondering though, is what exactly did the Elder Gods govern before the mortal races came about? The bunnies and the fae?

From what was said about Fain..

Fain & Raezon to the Souless: deal.gif
Lisaera : giggle.gif
Lisaera to Meridian: secret.gif
Elder Gods on Fain & Raezon: mf_swordfight.gif
Fain now: grrr.gif argue.gif

And yes.. I haven't gotten to play with the smilies yet so I'm overusing them now, it should be out of my system.

Not sure of your source, but some of this contradicts what we've learned from Lisaera, Auseklis and Lacostian.

Elfenehoala was a member of the sixth circle, the awakeners, along with her sister Lisaera and Auseklis.

Terentia, Krokano and Loboshi were of the second circle, the warriors.

Meridian was of the first circle, a leader, as was Aslarn.

Igas and Dracnoris were the only ones specifically mentioned as meditators, like Lacostian

I think that covers most of the ones that were mentioned, and Jasper's post has some too. I'm so intrigued, I can't wait to find out exactly what Awakening means! frenzy.gif

That's weird. I'm positive someone said something about them being in the Third Circle. Maybe it was Terentia, she said, "What of those in the Third Circle - Loboshi, Meridian, and the others that chose to stay behind?"
Elryn2004-12-05 09:32:07
It was suggested that some of the Elder gods didn't follow the circles as rigidly as others, so maybe some of them dabbled in a few different circles at once?

EDIT: Or, they just grew old and lazy and turned into meditators! dunce.gif
Gwynn2004-12-05 09:42:51
Gee, you're all so incredibly rude. Welcome to the fold, Terentia! : )

I'm sure you'll soon be driven mad by all our inane pratter, so have fun in the mean time!
Lisaera2004-12-05 11:28:41
Nice to know that some of you listened. What Elryn and Jasper have said is a very good rough guide to the Circles.
Unknown2004-12-05 11:32:58
I wasn't there during the apparent second discussion with You, Auseklis and Terentia. I left the first meeting because it was getting annoying, everyone trying to be witty at once.
Lisaera2004-12-05 11:49:50
Actually it was an entirely seperate discussion in My Fulcrux, and Terentia wasn't there. I believe She was touring Celestia at the time or some such. Lacostian and Auseklis came to lend Their opinions as I explained some of the Circles and what had happened to lead up to the Elder Wars.

huh.gif

I never said that Raezon was of the First Circle, just merely told a smaller version of the story of Fain and his Soulless alliance. Which Raezon was in.

From what I have read, I would peg Raezon as of the Fifth Circle with Roark, a Thinker. Since he is the God of Knowledge, Forbidden or otherwise.

Ooh, a compliment from a Divine, how nice. Never had one of them, nope, never. biggrin.gif
Unknown2004-12-05 20:02:29
I never implied you had said that, Jasper. I just said that I don't think they're both of the same Circle. It wasn't in reply to anything.
Unknown2004-12-05 20:03:29
I just like that She's blue. Well, has blue hair, anyway. happy.gif

Oh, right, sorry about that then. blush.gif

She has blue hair? I never noticed..
Shiri2004-12-05 20:20:10
Pff. Forget blue haired people, Bris, we need a Furrikin God! (or Goddess. Maybe. We need to break the "only women can be cute stereotype though.) 3 cheers for Kiakod...o. Or something.

Kiakoda.

But Kiakoda was a Vernal Goddess, and the Elder God that created the Furrikin has been splintered off. So, unless there is a Divine in that nice little place outside Astral, I do not think we are going to see a Furrikin God.
Shiri2004-12-05 21:03:55
I KNOW it's Kiakoda, but I think we could do with a furrikin GUY Divine. I swear, whenever I try to be funny...tongue.gif

.

First Circle - Leaders/Dipolmats- Fain was in this, supposedly He first met with the Soulless and then presented his meeting to the rest of the Alliance of Elder Gods. Raezon joined Fain and these two joined the Soulless with a couple others. Lisaera joined them also, but she had secret plans with Meridian, who was also one of the First Circle, and Terentia both of who attacked a group of Soulless that Fain and Raezon were with. Which then resulted with them being thrown in the Void.

So, that's what Fain posted about when Lisaera came back? About not forgeting what She had done?
