I doubt Vernal gods would return to ths Basin. One thing that proves this is the fact that there is hardly any resources left and the wisdom of how to chant the ritual of acesnding to vernal godhood has been lost for 100's of years. and I doubt anyone knows it so far.
Shiri2004-12-06 19:08:11
Yeah, but that's no reason to suggest they won't in future.
Unknown2004-12-06 19:10:15
I think the only possible way for someone to be risen to Vernal god, is the two lost cities. I think besides them.. everyone else from the time of the taint wars is gone. or skeleton or ghost things.
Unknown2004-12-06 19:12:07
Ooh, yeah. The frozen people in Gaudiguch and Hallifax might remember the spell.
Unknown2004-12-06 19:15:20
or the Supernals' of Celestia. We know from the history of the Vernal Wars, a vernal god was the first to discover Celestia and made himself into their image. He also used Celestia to hide people from the soulless gods. These are just Possbilities.

Hrm. Would Serenwilde be able to rais a vernal god? Considering that their nexus is different than the cities, and their view of the cities and what they do...
If they cannot, would vernal gods make the game completely unbalenced for the cities?

The only reason why a Vernal god should be rezzed is incase the Soulless return to Lusternia. Even if they do return in some point, I believe there will be different ways to finish them without rezzing the Vernal gods. and about Serenwilde. Their moonheart tree can raise a vernal god but I doubt any have tried.
Unknown2004-12-06 20:16:02
Maybe sometime in the future, Soulless Gods will become a constant threat once more to the realm.
And in any case, there were in all probability lots of forestal Vernal Gods raised in forest-type-strongholds. Kiakoda anyone? She was a furrikin, and although the Histories don't tell us where, she was probably raised in Serenwilde/Glomdoring/Ackleberry or a forestlike village destroyed later on in the wars.

All the titan ideas were ones that were affiliated with something.
How about a rouge titan? Better yet, when I reach level 100 (in three years or so...) make me the only one, with neat rouge powers.
Rouge titan- A group of titans that banded together, forsaking thier powers, and delving into the lost secrets of the land. Using more physical force than mental powers, these titans have a strong affinity for thier weapons. May SUMMON -weaponn-, which creates an incredible titan weapon. May also do some really cool skill.

I doubt there will be rouge titans if at all, these ideas are used for titan. What I believe is that what Iggy said about the different titans make the most sense
Fire, Water,Earth, Air, Light and Dark Planes. and we could have titans which repserent each plane by both power and appearance.
Vernal god's will most likely be npcs until a more balance thing comes up. in my opinion. and so on

Maybe not Vernal God for level 100 then. It would be more fun to keep that status temporary, and if Soulless Gods return, just pop the best fighters into the nexus and they're transformed into a Vernal God to fight off the Soulless until it's defeated or the nexus hits 0.
Unknown2004-12-06 22:11:25
The Vernal god's main purpose was to defeat the soulless. I doubt they would make it where you reach level 100 and you become a vernal god or goddess. it defeats the purpose of the ancient history behind Vernal God.
Unknown2004-12-06 22:13:07
and it wasn't the best fighters that were vernal gods. only Urlach and the dwarf vernal god. (forgot his name) we're actually warriors. The rest weren't weaker then them but they spent their time in ways which better help their cause behind the vernal war.
Richter2004-12-06 22:20:20
I'll bet you that vernal gods will -not- be npc's.
Unknown2004-12-06 22:21:15
Who knows, all I know is that most likely it won't be level 100

Do you mean rogue? Rouge is French for red.
Shiri2004-12-06 22:43:59

Richter2004-12-06 22:48:41

Ahh, a rogue deck in MTG is when someone turns up to a tourney (usually) with something no one's really seen before. As opposed to the current "best decks" of the era.

I don't want to see water/fire/earth/light/dark titans, it's too... Captain Planet, or Pokemon. I played Aetolia for about two hours total, but their Hollow Ones sounded like a cool concept (though not exactly applicable to Lusternia, everyone's so zealous) and Imperian's Aspects were also cool. Achaea's dragons turned out to be just... bashing tools, though. The different colours seemed pretty meaningless.
