North Carolina is not only regularly around 95 in the summer, but I live near a lake. Woo constant humidity and thunderstorms.

We don't even have winter. We have the rainy season which gives out muddy and dirty floods especially in Manila, regularly. But, even then, unless there's a typhoon, we get uncomfortably humid temperature a lot.
