Personally, it's because if you really are the doctor, you're dead anyway (after all, once outed, the doctor is the prime target). The other possibility is that you're trying to make a careless doctor claim to prove that you're not the doctor and should be lynched, which seems to be a favorite strategy when cornered (after all, you've got nothing to lose). With that in mind, my vote will stay.

Yotz. After deliberating a while, I'd say Rika's a better player than that, to come out as a doctor. I think the claim is to hide something more scummy. My vote stays.

If we lynch the doc, even if Rika's bluffing, that means that the scum will likely knock off the vig tonight, who I just brought back, which seems completely counterproductive. I still say we really aren't accomplishing anything by lynching Rika except excising the bitter or possibly maybe lynching a scum who makes a doctor claim. Not sure if the risk is worth it.

On the other hand, if we don't lynch Rika, we may have a doctor who refuses to protect anyone out of impotent rage.

Still not sure I want to take that risk, so I won't assent to the lynch.
