Haliyzin's sixteen, furrikin, born in Estelbar, and has been separated from her mother who she thinks is dead since she was six (she never knew her father). As far as she recalls, her mother went off to save her enslaved uncle in Acknor, and never returned, so she was sent to live with a close friend of her mother's in Tolborolla and work in the silk sheds.

If you want to make that work, that is cool! I am willing to bend, as well.

Which organization a potential parent would be from really doesn't matter, since they've been separated for so long. In fact, it would be really cool if I had a long-lost mother in the Serenwilde while Hailey is in the Glomdoring. I am completely open, but of course, it makes sense if one of the parents (likely mom) is a furrikin! biggrin.gif

EDIT: wait i had a birthday. seventeen.

I'm stealing you.

quick edit: Why are kids one of the commodities offered at the trading post? I don't get it.

Wouldn't mind having some more children! biggrin.gif

Furrikini children would make the most sense, as Aiyana spent most of her days as one, and Gregori spent a good number of years as one with her. Elfen would, as well, as it's Gregori's natural race. However, any race (except Illithoid and Viscanti) is possible with how often both of their parents change every few years..

Please be a Seren, or have a reason for them to live anywhere else!

Pros:
o Your mother will be a cook and spoil you with sweets when she actually gets around to cooking.
o Mother is a currently human but intends to go Furrikin again someday, father a Vernal Ascendant.
o You'll be related to Lehki, and Lehki is cool.
o You won't have to deal with a father too often.
o You'll be a Mes'ard, and Mes'ards are awesome.
o One of your sisters is really your cousin, who Aiyana and Gregori adopted to get it away from 'Crazy Aunt Lirathea'. (We're interesting, atleast.)
o We don't farm novices from the portals. There's a reason behind every kid we have biggrin.gif

Cons:
o Gregori is your dad. Sorry.
o Aiyana doesn't like Merian. If you're a merian, you'll be the outcast child she loves only because she has to, and she may ponder cooking you in a pie or something a few times.
o Mother's rambly and sermony, and SRSBSNS in public.
o Gregori's still your dad. Sorry.
o Gregori is picky about kids. Don't be clingy to him, it pisses him off. It's coo' to be clingy to Aiyana though, just not in public. Cuz she's still SRSBSNS.

You also have to accept the fact that Gregori is always right. It's a terrible curse he carries in his divine ability to always be right, but he carries it with humility. Just... ask him.
Selskia2009-09-30 16:25:49
Oi, I'm not an it! dry.gif

And...and...uh, Gregori can be entertaining. Sometimes.

...but he's still Gregori.

Are there any solely merian families? I play a young merian who has a pure heritage and would like to join a family if there was one going?

Because I'm from Somalia.

I need children. However, first, I need my wife to play.

Either way, you'll get to be an only child for a while, as the rest of your family (Read, everyone not me) will be dormant.

We have an Aethership/manse, and I have not just cookies, but tarts and pies.
I also have a changeling cameo, and genderbend frequently, so you won't get a father or mother from me. Just a parent. A very confusing, but loving one.

Who's also insane.

Still am, scroll back for previous posts. DO YOU HAS WHAT IT TAKES?

Nettle's casually on the lookout for little forest dwellers she can spoil and annoy.

Requirements are basic:
-Be a member of Serenwilde.
-Have a pretty firm grasp of proper spelling, grammar usage, and role-playing.

Pros:
-I'm around a lot. You'll get your fair share of attention if you want it.
-You'll get your own room in your mom's tree/tunnel system.
-Fern, your live-in aunt, is pretty cool.
-Your grandmother's also cool. She'll give you free sandwiches and cuddles. Probably.
-Nettle's an herbalist. Free herbs. Whee.

Cons:
-You'll be adopted. That means you won't have a father and won't be genetically related to Nettle (nobody's going to marry a dirt-obsessed porcupine, just trust me on that), so you won't be an official member of the family bloodline.
-Nettle's pretty strange. Her diet consists of butterflies, worms, and berries and her favorite activities consist of burrowing and napping. People probably think she's crazy.
-You'll probably get a belly full of quills if you're too clingy/pouncy/huggy/etc. But I certainly don't mind the occasional amount of physical affection.
-I ain't no combatant and won't be able to protect you if you get beat on. But you'll probably get some comfort and a bowl of soup afterwards.

Notes:
-Nettle is only slightly larger than the average porcupine... we'll say about three feet tall... so furrikin and faelings will probably make the most sense as far as size goes. But you can be pretty much any race. As long as you don't mind being significantly larger than your prickly little mother.
-Age actually doesn't matter, since it's an adoption and there's no birthing or system restrictions involved.

Edit: Oh! Just... role-play in her direction. Yeah.

Just need to spin it better. I hear you like getting dirty?

Garick and Syridean are (still) looking for kids!

Pros
- Peulus family, you'll have Ilyarin for a distant relative (something like a great-grand-uncle, or something)
- Father is an elemental enchanter. Hey, cheap enchants!
- Other father is a tailor. Hey, cheap packs!
- Other father active as an aquamancer undersecretary, former Dean, and professor
- Father a former guildmaster of aquamancers
- Both parents fairly knowledgable about various topics
- RP is a major plus
- Other father is likely to be very protective, though not very combat savvy

Cons
- Peulus family, you'll have Nydekion for an uncle
- Somewhat of a small family with 10 active members currently.
- Other father can, unfortunately, NOT make robes. Lingerie, yes, robes, no.
- Other father is somewhat bigoted. He dislikes Viscanti, Glomdoring, 'uppity Serens', demons, wyrms, and Magnagorans. Roughly in that order, from greatest to least.

There are other things too, but I can't think of them at the moment. RP in Syrii's general direction if you're interested.

Iytha still wants children.

Casilu still wants children too.
Kelysa2009-10-12 16:08:54
Got lots, always want more! Racist and sexist selection processes, elfen girls (Maybe faelings) only need apply
Unknown2009-10-12 19:05:18
Whoops, I was wrong. Apparently Haliyzin's always been a faeling. She just got a little messed-up on her way through the portal!

Shush, I already laid claim to you, just as soon as I can find poor Tervic a spouse.
