Siblings?

I'm hoping to find a sibling for Nathaniel and to start a family, I need only a day more of playtime until I'll be able to actually bloodbond. (Should have it by mid-next-week, hope this isn't an inconvenience!)

You'll have a sister with a boy name that is a rambling drunkard with very few lucid moments, and a great lack of sense of style. She'll make you booze, sing you songs, and will indeed do the overprotective sibling thing if you want.

She's cute, though, so it makes up for all her shortcomings.

Hoping to find someone that is in Seren, which would be ideal, but I'm also willing to consider people outside, depending on how much you scare me!

I'd like to get started on family-stuff with Azoth, and the first step to that is finding him a suitable brother (or sister?). My past characters, when they've bothered with it, have all been bloodbonded to Jack or one of his alts, if that gives you any indication of what I'm after. Azoth is basically all of my bad qualities and none of the good ones... he's cowardly, spiteful, violent, and generally disrepectful to others. He serves his own selfish interests, which are themselves a wildly fluctuating thing, and the only companionship he relishes is that of like-minded evil sycophants. An off-kilter sense of humor is a must, as well as a desire to listen to my many OOC rantings and ravings. I'll return the favor, believe me.

Contact me whatever way you please, messages or PMs or accosting me at the Master Ravenwood. I don't care about org - Celest works as well as Glom as long as your character is the right fit.

Beldoria is also up for snagging people into the family through bloodbonding 'cause that works.
Currently she's got Deven bloodbonding, but any takers for this is welcome to contact her IG.
Not too bothered where you are based, she's glad to welcome you into the family whatever, she doesn't really pay attention too much to politics...
Rodngar2010-01-13 14:04:15
Rodngar has no family (he's married in to the Dekovens via Aoife) and I'm looking to tie him in to one, either through an informal sort of adoption thing or just a decent RP backstory for a literal blood relation. I as a player have never cared about what city who belongs to - mostly because sometimes that happens in families. The same tends to fly for Rodngar - in fact, he has no problem with Gaudiguch despite being a Hallifaxian, though if you had to put a finger on an organization he's most likely to have curt relations with or just being incredibly wary of, it would be Celest.

Getting Rodngar means you also get Aoife as an in-law: it's a lump package, you'll end up loving her more than you love Rodngar. He's looking to become a big name in the ring for hitting stuff until its dead, though, so if a family needs one or two troublemaking prospective mass-murderers, look no further!

EDIT: To make this clearer, I'm looking for somebody who would be interested in taking Rodngar on as a sibling - I've no preference or prejudice to any family in the game right now, so it's pretty much free pickings as long as the family has no issue with me and we as a 'group' could make it work. smile.gif

Orventa's on the lookout for sibs, older and younger. Must be willing to take on and honour the Trueflight name. Send her a tell, message or letter IG, if interested.

Preferred races: Faeling, Elfen, Trill

Orgs: Hallifax, Seren, Glom (It would be interesting to have relatives from both communes, but at the same time she'd rather not have drama/in-fighting)

Qualities: Sibs who will remind her not to take everything so seriously, but still respect that she is Hallifaxian/ respect the Hallifaxian way of life

Existing sibs: Kitty/Qeturah, an aeromancer, but rarely active

Family Pet: Turilira, the radiant glass shadhahvar: desert unicorn, old glass goat, mischief maker and all around eating machine and therapy pet for Orvi's patients. Partial to gravy filled fruit.

About Orventa: Despite having grown up in Serenwilde, she had always been fascinated by that shining city in the sky. She joined up with the Sentinels, and quickly fell in love with the small-knit group that was the Company. But she soon discovered that while her spirit wanted to help and fight, there was only so much her little faeling body could take. So, when the Conclave awoke, she departed the ranks of the Company to join the Institute and has been flourishing ever since. Though she doesn't fight as much. she helps the Collective in her own way by teaching at the University and healing her wounded comrades. She's been called straight-laced in the past, and perhaps that's to be attributed to her previous training as a Sentinel and her desire to be a good Hallifaxian... but given enough time, she can loosen up and "let her hair down" both figuratively and literally. Every now and then she'll go on an excursion from Hallifax to the forests to recharge and reflect.

Who wants to be bloodbonded into the Skyplumes?
Unknown2010-10-25 07:40:44
Or the Dawneyes! Though you'd have to wait for Varan to finish.

Shop, two cartels, banner family, such and such.

(Though you'll be stuck with icky Ayden as a family member! Muahaha)
Unknown2010-10-25 21:16:30
Ok, since I'm (mostly) not unhappy and not (dead) tired at 3 in the morning, I'll actually write out a better post.

The Skyplumes are looking for more siblings in the root generation, because I say so. They used to not be because I was trying to maintain the family dynamic we'd started out with, but that's all gone down the drain, so here we are! When the school year started up again, our activity basically plummetted. This is sad and bad. This is also why I'm trying to find more people, because I don't want this family to just fade away. Ok, of course IC this would be roleplayed out in an acceptable manner. I am all about that stuff, but this post is just to let people know the situation, you know? Yeah, moving on.

Here are a few things about the Skyplumes you may or may not know!:

1) The family is mostly Hallifaxian, with a few exceptions in Glomdoring and Celest.
2) All members of the root generation should be either trill or lucidian. Lucidians would be adopted siblings, but trill could possibly be worked in as a natural sibling depending on age/circumstances.
3) Originally founded with the intent of being an all-artistic family, this was always a little shaky, and completely fell apart when the bulk of our main artsy people either went inactive or rejected the family. But that's ok. Instead, we turned out as being mostly friendly (if you shove Arte in a corner and don't look at him too hard ninja.gif) people who are helpful and want to work to improve the situation for everyone. From a Hallifaxian viewpoint, we have artists, scientists, and bureaucrats. We don't discriminate! The important bit is that you aren't a complete good for nothing layabout.
4) We have a family manse! It's small and simple yet, but it's pretty, and can still grow!
5) There is a family aethershop that a few of us can stock things in. I don't know how much longer we'll have this one, but hopefully we keep it around and don't get rid of it. lolgone
6) Cats and spheres and durrr hurrr you Skyplumes are so stupid and silly all the time-- Ok, that was Taraj, who if you look at the family tree was actually denied entrance into the family proper until he cleaned his act up (he never did, then poofed). In their youth most of the Skyplumes sisters were pretty obnoxious and silly, but that settled down ages ago. So enough about the freakin' cat and the silliness already!

So that's really all I have to say here. I'm not good at this kind of thing...it works a lot better if I'm in the game and roleplaying it out, but I just wanted to try to poke people and maybe get their attention here, too, because I really care about the life of this family and figured maybe someone might be interested. Uhm...yeah. Ok. That's it.

(Oh and if you want to be one of our kids, that's cool too, but the only people able to adopt right now are myself and Arte, so you'd have to be down with that.)
Unknown2011-01-22 22:11:36
I've posted in the looking for kids thread too, but I don't mind bloodbonding anyone into the d'Deneith family either.
You can be anywhere, doesn't matter to Beldoria since she doesn't care too much about politics, and she's rogue.
If interested, send me a message/tell IG.

I guess this thread fits best.

Xikue is a 158-year-old Lucidian of Hallifax with artistic inclinations. Currently spending most her time in the company of bards and scholars in the mountains.
I'd like to establish Xikue as a godmother of sorts, a great-aunt who goes and spoils the young ones. She's slowly gathering gold while coming out of inactivity and hasn't much to spend it on. She doesn't have to be made a family member. I'd be happy role-playing her as a close friend of the family. Since she's of Hallifax, I'd prefer the family she befriends to be based there.
Ardeo2011-03-18 23:55:04
Ardeo Fulgur. Looking for a brother ideally. Ardeo is a human pyromancer.

After waiting a pathetically long time for the magical return of meriankind, I've decided to try this again. Since I've been gone a while and played mostly with other Cantors (i.e., two other people), I'll provide a short laundry list for those who don't know anything about her.

Vusilk is
  • sort of old (164),
  • merian,*
  • female,
  • pleasantly average,
  • agreeable,
  • self-sufficient (bonus: transcendent cook with spatula, great for all your herofete needs),
and would like
  • a sibling of moderately old age (we're only talking 50-75, here)
  • of either gender
  • who is preferably NOT one of the furry sort running around Celest.
I'd be okay with a spouse too, but I didn't feel like writing two posts that said basically the same thing, and I occasionally disappear when writing my thesis seems more interesting, which isn't really fair to another person. Anything's negotiable, as long as the spouse/sibling/family is primarily Celestian-based. I like where I am, and I don't care to leave. Vusilk's really too Plain Jane to deal with the interorganization thing anyway. Contacting me here or in-game is fine. smile.gif

*the merian thing is actually pretty important to her/me, since I find the whole racial history very rich and interesting, so keep that in mind

I changed some stuff and made a new ad!

Hrm. My mom, Azula is planning on making our family revolve around the Merian race (please don't mind me, I'm supposed to be the black sheep in that regard). Maybe you could get along? unsure.gif

Hey all

I'm in the market for a family or , people wanting to join mine. I have an interest in creating a large family and wish that it will succeed as a successful family at that. There are a few things to consider however, my personality has been horrible but I have made some adjustments to it and can be quite nice if you want to get to know me. There are several stipulations that would involve becoming a family with myself, I would prefer those that are not from Serenwilde, Magnagora or Hallifax. Hallifax being the most important one. Please contact me either here or in game if you wish to talk to me. Thanks!.
Azus2011-08-31 08:35:31
Yes, that's right! You wrinkled, old folk can too be part of the glorious Hive Ankhemet - simply recognise either Queen Jhen or I as a sibling! I will be accepting brothers, and the Queen will be accepting sisters - we can't leave kephera out of the Hive to languish!

Siblings must be kepheran.
Siblings must not be idiots.
Etc. etc.

The gender system between kephera still applies, but you're all your own person - you've already made life choices, and Hive Ankhemet will continue to support them as much as we can without violating the RP that we're built on. Gloomy and Tainted kephera will not be welcome, unless they prove themselves no longer forsworn.

Husbands and wives will be accepted into the Hive clan, if not the family (we'll see), and will be welcome to reside in your apartments. Unless those spouses are Gloomy or Tainted. They will not be welcome to join the clan or to live in the Hive, but we won't ask you to leave them, however much we'd like to.
