I'm going to be taking an extended(Eternal?) leave of absence from Lusternia. Obviously someone has taken it upon themselves to scoop up my every errant word, twist them into hurtful things, and make people I consider to be close friends IRL not even want to talk to me anymore.

Don't care who it was, but if your goal was to make me leave, congratulations. You won. Now go play your game and leave me the alone.

Leaving bright and early at 7am on Wednesday (the 7th). Meaning I have to get up at 3 to get to the airport. Yessss.

Made a post in-game for the Coven, but here's a bit more explanation.

I am on a trip that was supposed to end this past Tuesday, but it has been extended to next Monday or Tuesday (12th/13th). Which means that my relative inactivity will continue. I will try to log in periodically to check messages and whatnot. And again, to those of you waiting to speak with me, I apologize, but please bear with me.

Going dormant. Tired of being dragged into conflict. This is a conflict-based game, so I am probably just in the wrong place.

But...but...I will miss you.

It seems we keep needing reminders of why this is a problem. Hopefully you count as one.

What we need is to dispel this oversimplification: "Lusternia is a conflict game, therefore, if you don't like the conflict, it's your own damn fault." No, Lusternia is a game made of many elements; conflict is one of them, and you have to like the presence of conflict to like Lusternia, but you don't have to like the particular mix of conflict with everything else you're getting today, to like Lusternia. And even if you like the quantity of conflict you're getting, that doesn't mean you have to like conflict over which you have no input and no control, or conflict in which you have no goal, or conflict in which you cannot win. Some people on the forum like to whitewash all of those things away with a "love it or leave it" attitude that wholly fails to address the actual concerns. Zallafar should not feel bad at all for walking away, and should not feel that it's his fault.

Okies, I am going to be gone for four days because I am taking a well earned vacation to watch women in bathing suits slather themselves in oils of various types, and if I am lucky, I will see my wife slather herself in said oils...Aiyana you are not allowed to stalk us on this trip, so if you could -please- come out of the trunk of our car...It would be great, thanks.

Going to be rather nice I reckon, post-apocalypse and all.

Flight was cancelled, which means one more day of absence.

Alrightie, just in case nobody has ever noticed, I've been gone for quite a while, months, actually, and I think it would be that way until the next, I believe. Just working with migration papers, (going to CALIFORNIA next month to live with my mother, woo!) and settling affairs and spending more time with my relatives and old friends, schoolmates... Basically running around from town to city to city to town or just plainly laxing around.

Heh, though I do miss Lusternia, very much. Going through the Player Pics thread made me laugh and want to be a part of it all (at least to me) but I doubt I'll have time or the mental capacity for the responsibility and stress of it all, for now. I will be back, one day! But right now, I'm at Achaea... Geh, don't ask. >_< But you get the point, heh. Missing everyone already!

I'm going to be going away for a week starting sunday. Housesitting and said people don't have internet in their house. Not sure if I'll be able to get access, might head to a friends house but not being able to drive makes that a little hard.
