===Envoy Reports - Feb 2009===
o EternalSleep(Dreamweaving) is now doable in or out of dreamform and
additionally requires the target be at near-maximum tiredness.
o Maidens(Wicca) now have a minimum time of eight seconds in which they
will stay put.
o Blanknote(Music) has been lowered in equilibrium cost and no longer
stuns.
o Avatar Aura and Avatar Wrath have been changed so only one avatar in
the room will affect a person at a time.
o Cauldron Gather(Night) no longer requires dropping the cauldron.
o TRAPS(Traps) will not consume balance or equilibrium but will require
both to use.
o Scarab(Druidry) has been slightly increased in duration.
o Detonate has been added to Phantomsphere(Phantasms). See the AB for
more information.
o Rustle(Hunting) will also work with sheep.
o WrathfulCanticle(Necroscream) has been changed. Please see the AB for
more information.
o New skill in Psionics - Hyperhidrosis. Please see the AB for more
information.

o The traditional status has been revamped. Take a look at STAT or
STATUS and see! If you prefer the old one, OLDSTATUS is what you need!
o Familiarshield (Ecology) wasn't actually blocking the venoms. This is
now fixed.
o Blackdeath(Necroscream)'s effect now will occur slightly more often.
o Several bugs affecting the Orderwar system have been resolved.
o Sacrifice(Necromancy) now has a small balance cost on fail (if the
person is not crucified with four limbs broken).
o Eating corpses will respect the upgraded crow carrying carrion limits
rather than the old ones.
o Hermit(Tarot) is now blocked by Perfect Fifth.
o You can no longer Fugue(Music) yourself, even with clumsiness.
o Divine fire will no longer reduce health, mana, or ego if they are
above the maximum.

You still might, firstly because that cancels out ally songs too (and if you're captivated you already wouldn't get the enemy songs), and secondly because you might want to be able to escape from perfectfifth at any given time and if you're earached that's not practical.

OK-- used the skill which gave me slick skin (akin to senso effect). I don't see the def listed anywhere. Now, what does it shrug off?

It's like cleanse, but you can do it while off super balance so nihilists can't wreck you even more effortlessly than they normally can with ectoplasm.
It gives you slick skin presumably so you don't also use it to get out of slitlocks and stuff (at a guess.)

Aaah-- OK. Now I get it. Unfortunately this skills will not appeal to psymets en large because the Sub (along with Id) channel is a pretty common channel to hold a buff-- plus because of the slickness and equilibrium issues. Dunno, maybe I am wrong.

That's correct. It isn't really meant to be a new useful skill in psionics per se: it's just a skill-shaped tool the admin chose to solve a problem caused by the standard long-ass balance mages use for their offence.

Ick, the new stat is so obscenely huge considering how little information it gives you. I like that it's prettier, but the old one is much less of a pain. I think the new stat would be nicer if the enemy statuses were compressed into a list with commas instead of each being listed on separate lines (at the moment, if you have a lot of them like me, they fill half the screen). I also think the rest/hunger/sobriety/etc part could be compressed a bit but I'm not sure how.

I like how it is standardised now though. I've always wondered why SCORE is so pretty and colourful, while STAT was more plain and all white.

Actually, now that you mention it, I've totally forgotten about OLDSCORE. Yes, oddly enough, that did cheer me up. When was it changed though? I don't or very faintly recall any announce posts.
