Alas, there is no longer a precedent for requesting a Moon timed instant.

I still think a better solution to report 512 would be to increase the missrate of all knights on trans instead of giving monks a boost they probably don't need vOv
But take what you can get I guess.
I'm happy that I won't be missing as much now!

Agreed. If it's any consolation, monks use a hybrid of armed and unarmed attacks. They would see some increase, but not to the same degree as knights due to this factor.
Report 527 was rejected. Sadly, the standard Furies decision message doesn't indicate whether they don't see a problem within the skill, or whether the proposed solutions were not acceptable. As a new'er'ish Envoy, is it appropriate to re-Envoy a skill? Is it also appropriate to ask whether it was rejected on problem or solution so that I don't waste anyone's time?

Same situation here. I'm not sure why was it rejected - fine that it was, but what aspect of it exactly was not liked - so I don't waste future months going there?

You can ask me in-game and I can usually provide a better explanation.

Well, we don't know why was it rejected yet - maybe they had a problem with my proposed implementation, not the concept itself.

No, I think it was the idea of giving wiccans a timed instakill they don't actually need.
Shamarah2011-02-19 21:39:04
Seriously. Since when are shadowdancers weak?
Unknown2011-02-19 21:39:19
It would be kind of cool if the Furies actually explained why specifically whenever they reject reports though, regardless of what it's about.
P.S. The accepted suggestion for 542 doesn't actually address the problem, I'm so tired of surprise solution 4.

They aren't. It's just that it's been so long since someone good used them.
Unknown2011-02-19 22:26:17
I can see why they don't explain it - Furies would probably come under even more flak than they do now, if the explanation wasn't well-worded / just plain bad .

I don't see Wiccans being as powerful as monks or the modern classes, so there's no reason to keep them old, uninteresting and subpar with the claims of "they don't need it" and "nobody decent plays them ". So, piggybacking a furies decision totally doesn't make you look cool.
Shamarah2011-02-19 23:50:34
- Monks are overpowered, so you shouldn't be trying to buff Shadowdancers to that level.
- The only one of the "modern classes" that is still overpowered is Researcher.

Did we forget that Illuminati have gotten probably one or two additional ways of adding temp insanity or something?

Agreed... to a point. An articulated response would draw further criticism. A branching out of the current, canned response to differentiate between "not a significant problem" or "ineffective/problematic solutions" would help with follow up.

I tested it with Iytha I think or maybe I just gave her the numbers, but even with the varying ways to give temp insanity it cannot be maintained at a level to pull off illuminate due to the power cost... unless you are Dartien with the champ pet
