Okay, having exhausted my computer's default wallpapers, despite how pretty they may be, I need something new on my screen! I'm not sure where to look though, since google just pops up a bunch of stock, regular pictures. And I feel like I've outgrown anime wallpapers at this point... so, does anyone know of little wallpaper treasure troves on the net? They can be of any kind of (appropriate) theme. And feel free to show off you own cool desktops too

This is what I've been using as my wallpaper. I designed it myself, with both bizarreness, abstractness, and use of transparent terminals and windows in mind.

Sadly, it's just a few pixels short of wallpaper size, but this can be corrected with judicious application of black as the background colour.

Neat... is that a real language written in the background, or just gibberish?

Oh, probably the latter I'm guessing. I'm too lazy to design my own wallpapers so I need to rip them off from others >.>

Depends on what you like...I'm a fan of Naruto, so I have an Inuzuka Kiba themed wallpaper...

If you do a search in DeviantArt for wallpaper, you should come up with some that were designed by the artists there, and DA does have some very good artists.

You could do a google image search on a topic that you like (puppy wallpaper for example.)

It really kind of depends on your taste, can't really tell you how to look or give you examples with no information...

I'm sure there is a mac version.. if you search the net there are atleast 3 different companies that provide that desktop, some over more gimmicks than others.

I just got a 22" widescreen LCD screen. Pity I can't figure out how to get my Dell monitor to duel screen with it.

Monitor doesn't matter, it's your video card. Most modern cards (at least with Nvidia) will have two outputs, and windows will handle the screen split.

Edit:
Oh, and depending on the TV, you may need an adapter to hook it to your video card. Radio Shack tends to carry most of these.
