Yeah I know it's an old quote but I originally saw this linked from TV Tropes (from the Nightmare Fuel article, of course) and I thought it was awesome. It's based on a Mark Twain story called "Letters from the Earth", and despite the cartoon (predictably) painting Satan as an evil jerk, the book is actually from his PoV.
